Flexibility: The ability to roll with the punches. - den Boer dictionary In Real Estate I find that the ability to remain flexible can payoff in less anxiety and craziness. I have had 2 recent closings delayed, on multiple times, because of lender issues. However, delays can come from any direction. The key as an agent involved in the transaction is to remain calm and work through whatever the issue is. Luckily, I can't remember more than one or two deals ever having completely fallen apart. Most of the time paperwork gets done that moves the closing date just enough for the lender … (2 comments)

I have a client looking for a home out and away from the Atlanta Metro area. He sent me 7 homes that he would like to see this Saturday. No problem, I said. So I started setting up our appointments. I called the first agent and she said, nope we are under contract as of today. Rats. So on to the next. The agent says, nope, we will be under contract by this evening. Congrats I say. Rats.
