So the government just dropped $2,400 into my bank account. Money that is supposed to help those that have lost their jobs and are having trouble paying their bills. It is also designed to help put cash back into a faltering economy. Fortunately, I am in Real Estate, so it's tough for me to lose my job. Despite everything, my business has been good this year. My wife has a good job as well and other than having to work from home, she has not really been impacted either. So, together we decided that the financial windfall from the government really should go (15 comments)

When you hire an agent to help you buy or sell a home, you should be getting more than the agent. I don't really mean the agent's team members like their administration people, or buyer agents working with the agent. No, I mean you should be getting a whole phone book full of people to help you. I recently spoke with a client whose home we are getting ready to list. He said, I don't know what to do about our old carpet. I told him, don't worry I will get my carpet guy out in the next 2 days to give (5 comments)

This week has been a wild one for the people of Atlanta. Many spent hours in their cars Tuesday and Wednesday, often running out of gas and being forced to hit the road miles from home. It was during this time that the people of Atlanta really shined! Many of the CVS stores, Publix and Kroger Stores, and just regular people opened their doors to strangers lost in the weather. They offered a warm place to stay and food to eat. Many folks went out into the mess offering help to stranded motorists. Either a push to get them going or (7 comments)

As I struggled out of bed this morning, I wondered why I felt so slow. I am positive that it has nothing to do with the amount of calories I consumed over an 8 hour period yesterday. Oh, my, gosh! It is amazing how much one can eat when one puts their mind to it. I remember every year for many years my grandmother would say, just as I picked up my fork, "Just think of all those people who have nothing to eat today." This would only slow me down just a touch, but it rings in my head to (4 comments)
