This time of year in Real Estate tends to be a bit slower than in the Spring for sales. However, we have sold homes in every calendar month. In fact, about 60% of our home sales have been in the last 6 months of the year.
So, are there negatives about placing our home on the market this late in the year? Well, if your home is show ready and priced right, it will sell, no matter the time of year. In the slower months it might take a bit longer to sell, but sell it will!

No way. It just can't be. It seems like Summer just got here and now you are telling me that it is almost over? School is back in session and Labor day is over. This is the recognized end of Summer, but I refuse to let this happen. It will in the high eighties here today, so I am standing firm that it is still Summer.
Summer is traditionally a really good time for real estate sales. June, July and August are typically my best months for sales. Does that mean people stop buying in the Fall? Nope. Believe it or not … (5 comments)
