Be aware this is not a late night TV ad. Before investing in real estate you need to have surplus money you are willing to invest into real estate holdings. The Portland Oregon market place has been so active the last few years it has been tough for small investors to get into the market. Prices have stabilized in the Portland market, this partially because of high inventory. As of the end of December according to the multiple listing service, listing inventory was 8.5 months.
