This was an evening baseball game in Missoula. During the time I lived there, Missoula got a Pioneer League baseball team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. With Mount Sentinel in the background, Missoula is a great place to enjoy a night game. The summer nights are long and warm, perfect for enjoying a cold beer and a baseball game. … (3 comments)

I love this photograph for a lot of reasons. I took this one night on the first elk hunt that my dad, my brother and I went on together. It was taken on 35mm film and I no longer have the negative, but have managed to hold onto this scan of the photo. The tent is lit with a single lantern and if you look closely, you can see the trail of smoke coming out of the chimney. Our camp was located near Overland Reservoir in Colorado, not too far from Glenwood Springs. The photo has been used as a book cover and also painted … (1 comments)
