Prince Edward Island is the smallest of the 10 provinces of Canada. It is located on the east coast surrounded by Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland with a population of app. 150,000. Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick make up the Maritime Provinces while Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland compose the Atlantic Provinces of Canada.

The beautiful Canadian province of Prince Edward Island is a "hidden treasure" that is being discovered by many fine Americans as well as other countries of the world. It is a small island that is linked to New Brunswick by the Confederation Bridge, and Nova Scotia by the Ferry Terminal at Wood Islands, and Caribou.
Visitors say "they love it" and sometimes we PEI citizens  wonder why. We don't have the best scenic beaches in the world although they are beautiful to the eye. Our two cities, Charlottetown and Summerside,  would nerver compare to the great New York city of other American … (0 comments)
