April 13-14th is the 4th annual Santa Cruz Mountain Bike FestivalMountain Bikers of Santa Cruz; where mountain bike enthusiasts congregate to celebrate Santa Cruz’s strong mountain bike culture! This two-day event is presented by , a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the promotion of mountain biking, and FOX, a brand centered around off-road racing. All ages are welcome to watch races, progress biking skills, visit exhibitors and vendors, test ride demo bikes, and enjoy the food court and beer garden.

When I was a kid my parents could not take me off the beach, all I wanted to do was roll in the sand, then dive into the waves. The Seascape area of Aptos, California is one of my favorite places to visit. I head down Beach Drive to enjoy Rio Del Mar Beach and the long strip of sand, the blue water, and the warm sun call to me, “Pete, Pete.”After a few trips, I found the hidden treasures along this coastline that keep me coming back time after time.
