Art and Chocolate in Santa Cruz This Mother's Day Weekend (May 11th and 12th) is the 6th Annual Art and Chocolate tour in Santa Cruz. The tour will feature twelve local artists in the Live Oak and Pleasure Point areas who will open their studios for public viewing. As you make your way through each studio make sure to sample the different kinds of chocolate treats at each location, maybe find a fantastic gift for mom. Although the heading of this blog sounds as though this event may be for cultural appreciation, it is actually to celebrate the annual journeys of many migratory animals that pass though Santa Cruz, CA. This event at Natural Bridges State Beach on February 12th will be the 23rd annual festival since it's inception. This free family oriented festival will supply live music by the nature loving group, 5M's Band, speakers, learning and activity center done by local Santa Cruz community groups, crafts, skits, and more.
