Central Market in Southlake, TX gave out coupons for Free Tulips without any expectations for store purchases. It made an impact on me because it is the anniversary of the day before my daughter was born and nobody at that store knows, except me. As a consumer, it filled my heart with joy and happiness. The month of December evokes nostalgia. It is easy to be reminded of family traditions and values. If you're lucky enough to attend year end celebrations it is the gathering of people who are there that counts. Many people will be traveling and some stay home for the holidays. Some see things as emotional; other things are fun. Regardless of where you are in life, it really is "the ride in between" that counts.
