flower mound: Do You Need a Cup of Coffee? - 02/26/23 11:58 PM
THE HUMAN BEAN
In North Central Texas, there are some great quick stops you can make for a cup of hot or cold coffee in Flower Mound, Lewisville, Lantana, and Argyle. My feature photo is The Human Bean located at 1001 W Round Grove Road in Lewisville. It is  practically a hop, skip, and a jump away from Flower Mound. I can only imagine how the homeowners behind The Human Bean feel when they wake up early and smell the coffee! For each cup of coffee, they add one candy coated coffee bean. Delicious! Visit their website at TheHumanBean.com. Year-round coffee is … (23 comments)

flower mound: Sunset Over Flower Mound 2/20/2023 - 02/20/23 08:01 PM
SUNSET OVER FLOWER MOUND, TX ON 2/20/23

Capturing the sunset during blue hour, the moments when the sun begins to set is such a treat. I don't have an ocean or mountain view but sky blue with sun setting colors before 7 p.m. is amazing and appreciated. This photo was taken outside my back door. Soon the trees will be covered in leaves.
Two pansy plants came up from last year in my front garden. One yellow; one purple. It is such a good feeling knowing I don't have to keep planting new pansy plants each year. The pansy is said to be … (24 comments)

flower mound: Sunset On Valentine's Day Over Lake Grapevine, TX - 02/14/23 05:25 PM
A PERSONAL REFLECTION by PATRICIA FEAGER, 2/14/2023
As clouds sweep over a hole in the heavens, the sun radiates with beauty. A sunset is the great communicator. It wants us to lift our faces up to the sky. A setting sun is always championing a ritual near and dear to our hearts. Today, just happens to be Valentine's Day. Being present in the moment of a beautiful setting sun is invigorating.

On evenings like this, the sun is the speaker. The person who remains silent is the listener. In moments like this there is self-awareness. This type of awareness brings one closer to … (10 comments)

flower mound: An Evening In Flower Mound Before The Full Moon - 02/05/23 03:22 AM
The Snow Moon is scheduled in the sky on February 5th. Finally, it appears winter is over and spring is on its way. People in Flower Mound enjoyed 60-degree temperatures Saturday night. I must say it felt too warm wearing a sweater! In this photo I took going home last night the moon was nearly full. One side of the street was dry, and some neighborhood streets had a sheen of black ice. From a local perspective it was a sleepy town by 7 PM. Where were all the people?

Here at the Riverwalk a handful of people were walking their dogs' … (19 comments)

flower mound: Happy Friday the 3rd Day of February 2023 - 02/03/23 01:04 PM
🤩Happy Friday! Things have resumed back to normal or at least better in Flower Mound, TX than it started on Monday! I finally got mail delivered today. I did not receive any cards, letters from friends or family, or money either. The two advertiser magazines that were delivered are headed for the dump (whenever the Garbage Services resume). Whew! Texans are glad the severe winter weather is over! Not a single snow flake was added to the deep snow since the last time I posted about the terrible weather we had that caused everything to shut down. My snow shovels are … (14 comments)

To drive to the Town from DFW International Airport it takes about 17 minutes or 3 miles north of the Airport, 20 miles NW of Dallas, and 25 miles NE of Fort Worth. flower mound: Animal Lover's Learn Lessons For Life - 01/27/23 08:50 AM
Like many people, I always loved animals and had many different pets to teach my children valuable life lessons. In this photograph you see my daughter hiking in the Swiss Alps. On her trails she was greeted by a Seedenhund, one of many Swiss Mountain Dogs. She has a way with animals that are always positive. They connect easily. As a family, we traveled to many places and always seemed to discover new life lessons about animals. Here are some of the life lessons you may have also learned. If you have more, I would love it if you shared:

flower mound: Let's Talk Trash!!! - 01/10/23 04:12 PM
One of the ways real estate agents can help orient new homeowners is to provide information about recycling. For example, in Flower Mound, Texas services are provided by Republic Services for Waste Management. The photo was taken from the top of my green recycling bin as a reminder about what can be recycled. Follow your own Community Guidelines when it comes to recycling. But does the label provide enough? I don't think so, hence the reason for this post.
Recycling is critical to preserve the planet

flower mound: Should I Buy or Sell? --- How's the Market? - 12/28/22 12:52 PM
The National Association of REALTORS® "forecasts that 4.78 million existing homes will sell in 2023," reports Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research.  If that is true, that "would be a 6.8% decline from 5.13 million in 2022.
Highlights in Dallas-Fort-Worth:
Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, Texas ranked #3 in the top 10 markets. Job growth increased due to a "growing number of new tech startups. Home sales fell 30% from November 2021 to 2022 (sharp decline). Median Sales Price dropped ~9% from $435K in May & June to $396,500 (Nov). First-time home buyers are low due to higher interest rates. Source: … (10 comments)

When it comes to Wildlife Management, the Town of Flower Mound does an excellent job. Not far away from the heart of Flower Mound is a wildlife management rescue site that may be of interest to you. Moving can be fun and exciting if you know the climate, landscape, and what you can expect. The animals I encountered were curious and friendly.

flower mound: Circle R Ranch - A Great Place To Spark New Ideas - 12/16/22 11:55 AM
Circle R Ranch located at 5901 Cross Timbers Road in Flower Mound is a beautiful place to hold events. Before the pandemic I attended many Strategic Planning Meetings at Circle R Ranch with other Real Estate Associates. For a great place to experience "Texas Hospitality," and great food, I recommend booking an event at Circle R Ranch. This is important because people need to get back to the drawing boards and work together in the same room. Special occasions call for prime location to hold important business meetings, celebrate a wedding with a nice reception, plan a Corporate Dinner & Gala, … (12 comments)

flower mound: Experiencing Christmas Time in Flower Mound, TX - 12/04/22 09:44 PM
"Where thou art, that is home" ---Emily Dickinson
Besides the Equestrian Centers what keeps me saddled in Flower Mound are the arts. The annual Christmas Parade and Flower Mound Tree Lighting Ceremony took place on Saturday, December 3. I am not a fan of crowds, but my heart is crowded with love for the arts. This photo was taken Sunday evening so that I could appreciate it selfishly, all by myself.
The Christmas Tree is in front of the Flower Mound Community Activity Center. The Activity Center offers events year round, including indoor swimming pool and aquatic activities, personal fitness training, Pickleball, FloMo … (13 comments)

flower mound: Friday Surprises in Flower Mound, Texas on 12/2/22 - 12/02/22 11:33 PM
I stopped off at Allegiance Title on Friday morning and was surprised to see Santa Clause in one of the conference rooms. We had a nice visit.

The Flower Mound Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in the evening on Saturday, 12/3/2022. What a surprise it was for me to see a different Christmas Tree lit up in the Mixed Use Neighborhood and also surprised nobody was standing by it having pictures taken or that nobody was taking carriage rides. I took a picture and isn't it lovely?

While driving and listening to the radio, the original Pink Panther song came on the … (9 comments)
