food: Can You Do It Now? - 11/14/19 04:50 AM

 CAN YOU DO IT NOW?

If you knew what food, thoughts, and feelings
did to your body, would you change your ways
On how you spend your days?

Or are you content with how you cheated
yourself over trouble, anxiety, and worry
Because you were in such a hurry?

The voice inside your head is always talking
did you listen carefully or were you unaware
Or was it perhaps, you didn't you care?

Life is for living, your thoughts do matter
are you willing to adapt to change
Do you care when you age?

If good health has more opportunities than challenges
would your efforts demonstrate value
Now or when you have to?

"Long-term, we must begin to build our internal strengths, it isn't just skills like computer technology. It's the old fashioned basics of self-reliance, self-motivation, self-reinforcement, self-motivation, self-reinforcement, self-discipline, self-command."  -  Steven Pressfield

TECHNOLOGY
It is easy to think buying new technology will make you more successful, but is it true? Have you looked at your past accomplishments and did new technology make you better off than before? Or are you acquiring technology without using it, while making others rich? --- Patricia

by Patricia Feager, 11/15/2017

I am thankful for my bed, clean sheets, pillows, and blankets. Growing up in Chicago meant going into the alley to get to the garage to go inside the family car. The alleys were filled with homeless people, but we called them bums. Although I was scared, thankfully, my father explained many bums were the byproduct of World War II (1939-1945). These were the people who didn't have jobs, a home, or anywhere else to go. So, they slept in the alleys, on the ground, in the gravel and dirt. Many of them also had addictions to alcohol. … (14 comments)
