fort worth: Business Is About Building Bridges
- 10/02/20 08:03 AM
"It's all about the people. It's about networking and being nice to people and not burning any bridges. Your book is going to impress, but in the end, it is the people that are going to hire you." ---Mike Davidson The 2020 Corona Virus Alert to America started in March. Inspirationally, I have been challenged to rise above the pandemic. My Sellers and I have been friends for more than 20 years. Maintaining a friendship for any length of time involves commitment and the confidence to know, this friendship could last. Between March and August we were challenged by obstacles, such as to list or not to

"If you're somebody that gets a chance to go somewhere... that has to work somewhere or go to another city, then do your best to see it. Because I just think that's the best way to have an interesting life." ---Brad Paisley Summer wouldn't be fun in summer if it wasn't for Fort Worth, TX! fort worth: Seller's Don't Get Offers - It Could Be Just Arithmetic
- 12/17/18 07:02 AM
Inspirational thoughts for 12/17/18 by Patricia Feager "Arithmetic is where the answer is right and everything is nice and you can look out the window and see the blue sky - or the answer is wrong and you have to start over and try again and see how it comes out this time." --- Carl Sandburg There are many reasons why a property sits on the market longer than usual. Agents usually say it is because of price, condition, or location. But there could be an anomaly that has nothing to do with the house. Sometimes, the condition doesn't necessarily apply to the home, but to the weather. Here in the Dallas-Fort

fort worth: Giving Thanks Doesn't Have to End - Right? (Day 2)
- 11/26/17 09:45 PM
by Patricia Feager 11/27/2017 I am thankful for trees. They are forever giving back to the community. Sometimes they have to shake and loose their leaves to get noticed, but I notice that without trees, the earth would be bare. I could bearly stand it if they disappeared. While visiting the Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth, TX on Saturday, 11/25/17, I took notice of the beauty of trees.
Leaves may change and fall to the ground, but they are never really gone completely. Truly, I am thankful for the trees and their leaves and the happy homes they give to birds and squirrels

fort worth: Giving Thanks Doesn't Have to End... Does it?
- 11/26/17 08:30 AM
by Patricia Feager, 11/26/2017 This post is written for the people who don't live with family members in multi-generational homes or in close proximity because a move or relocation changed the family dynamics. Holidays can be stressful only if you let it. Giving thanks doesn't have to end... does it? In order to seek true happiness, we need to learn to distinguish real happiness from imaginary kind --- John Lock I am thankful for the holidays I had with long distance family members when it was possible. Giving thanks daily for things right in front of me, or within my financial reach because it is

fort worth: American Institute of Architectural Design Award
- 11/05/17 05:26 AM
by Patricia Feager, 11/5/2017 One of the criteria for buyers when moving is often schools and churches. It's an important factor for some homeowners when selecting a new location. In recent travel excursions in 2017, I noticed I also gravitated towards those church steeples pointing towards the sky and found some interesting ones that peaked my interest. This one is the Thorncrown Chapel located one mile west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas on Highway 62 West. Sunday Services are offered from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. THORNCROWN CHAPEL This little church in the woods (two photos) is the winner of the American Institute of Architecture's

fort worth: What Can Dallas - Forth Worth Offer Teenagers?
- 02/20/17 10:21 PM
©Patricia Feager, 2/21/2017 Keeping teenagers engaged and focused on making their own good and healthy life choices is sometimes the hardest thing a parent has to do. When there is a move, or when children grow up they need to know there are opportunities that will appeal to them. "Adolescence is a period of rapid changes. Between 12 and 17, for example, a parent ages as much as 20 years." --- Author Unknown. WHAT CAN DALLAS-FORT WORTH OFFER TEENAGERS? This fourth part of my series highlights what is currently available to teens in Dallas-Fort Worth. School Programs, Extracurricular Activites, Sports, and Church Groups is a good

fort worth: Oh Nuts!
- 04/20/16 11:16 PM
Rain! Rain! Rain! Oh Nuts! Grey Skies Again!!! Do you believe in signs? Imagine for a moment you're a bird. You never really have a home. All you do is hang out, fly around, look for food. This is your ritual! A bird never hesitates to pay attention to its surroundings. Its goal is to survive! If the bird never moves, its destiny is unknown! Sometimes obvious! So the bird keeps a look out! It knows when to sit still and when to soar! The bird looks to the sky for signals. It trusts its insticts! With careful watch it knows when to go. People

fort worth: Mysterious & Beautiful Chapel on the Hill
- 02/01/11 02:31 AM
On January 31, 2011, I was drawn to this place; I can't explain why... While driving through the streets of Fort Worth, I was tired. I needed to rest; I just needed to find someplace safe to pull over. Traffic was heavy. I was in an unfamiliar part of Fort Worth. Drivers were cutting me off and I just had to keep going. Have you ever felt that dreary? I was also hungry. With budget cuts, I had to cut down on food intake but this was a different type of hunger, a hunger I cannot explain. I found a shopping center
