gratitude: November 2022 - I Am Thankful for Memories - 11/22/22 03:09 PM
November is the time to express gratitude. There are many things I am grateful for, but if I had to bundle my favorites inside a box with a pretty ribbon and top it with a bow, this is what you would find. A testimonial to what my best memories are, and why they are so special to me. Afterall, every single memory, big or small, great or not is a blessing to be pondered and appreciated.  A memory is a blessing. You must believe!

I am grateful for life’s many celebrations. Tying it all together, I would regret if memories did not … (11 comments)

gratitude: Cultivating Habits Of Being Grateful for Core Values - 11/11/22 02:43 AM
“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

My heart is filled with gratitude for the core values my parents and teachers instilled in me when it comes to cultivating good habits, common courtesy, ethics, good manners, compassion, hard work, and loyalty.

Debe Maxwell, CRS's  November 2022 Thanksgiving Gratitude Challenge is an opportunity for me to open up and share a chapter of my life about gratitude. I am thankful my parents … (15 comments)

gratitude: Heavenly Bliss - 10/27/22 12:07 AM
When it comes to clients and a referral, I follow up with gratitude. However, on October 26, 2022, I felt the need to give thanks to God for allowing me to get through these past two years without getting the virus and surviving the most unnatural period of my life. Others were not so lucky. I am mindful that there are people still suffering. It seems surreal that everyone around the globe experienced the same orders: stay home, lockdown, social distancing, and watch Zoom. No church. No school. No traveling. Wear masks. Wash your hands. Essential business only.

I cannot express my … (9 comments)

gratitude: Thanksgiving 2021 - Gratitude for Two Kinds of Women - 11/17/21 05:40 AM
September 11, 2001
America has been blessed by many brave women who enlisted in the Military after the attack on our country. Many women who enlisted were the granddaughters of the women from the 1950’s who were housewives, or daughters of women from who were part of the women’s rights movement, also known as the women’s liberation movement or a feminist social movement who fought for equal rights and sang along with Helen Reddy, singer, songwriter, author, activist, and actress who famously sang, “I Am Woman Hear Me Roar!

gratitude: Thinking about Thanksgiving Day? - 11/13/21 06:50 AM
Thinking about Thanksgiving Day raises awareness about gratitude. We know there is a lot to be thankful for year-round; however, when the day is set aside as a National Holiday it extends appreciation to others in special ways that ordinarily might have been taken for granted. Simple things come to mind, such as the sacrifice by the cook in the kitchen preparing a Thanksgiving dinner, the courage to forgive and forget disputes and come together as a family, taking down barriers that caused friction, and most of all, showing mutual respect to our veterans, the elderly, the children and everyone in … (27 comments)

gratitude: Thankful For Members I Met As A Result of of ActiveRain - 11/08/20 08:05 AM

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into
enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order,
confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home,
a stranger into a friend."
---MelodyBeattie, American Author

DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY.
THOSE THREE HALLOWED WORDS REVERENTLY
DICTATE WHAT YOU OUGHT TO BE, WHAT YOU CAN BE,
WHAT YOU WILL BE." ---DOUGLAS MACARTHUR

Three strangers came together and had dinner last night. Myself and two gentlemen. We were the only three in the restaurant and we each sat at different tables. Before the waitress got to me, one man leaned over and we started talking. As a New Yorker his voice projected and our conversations got real interesting. It didn't take long before the gentleman on the other side of the room carried his plate, fork, and … (13 comments)

"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive;
and to do so with some passion, compassion,
some humor and some style."
--- Maya Angelo

I am thankful for true passion. It’s the gratification one learns as a result of success. Passion is the outcome of one’s ability to succeed at most things in life that can be measured by your ability to be accountable with determination and a willingness to achieve.

Passion is organic. You can’t plant it, digest some magic pill or be induced by injection into your body. When it comes … (21 comments)

by Patricia Feager, 11/23/2017
For Debbie Reynolds AR Contest

Despite all the challenges, I am thankful for everything. Today, Thanksgiving Day 23 of the 11th month of 2017 is a day that celebrates by giving thanks. Whether or not you're lucky enough to be with family or friends, volunteering at a homeless shelter or alone, if you are or aren't a person of faith, let us be reminded of all the beauty and dignity of the creation of life here on earth.

2017 has been a year of gratitude. As we witnessed hardship, tragedy, sorrow, and so many unexpected events there was endless love and an … (23 comments)

Today, I am thankful for the Title Companies and all the people behind the scenes who make it possible for closings to happen here in Texas.
