happiness: Give Yourself the Gift of Happiness - 01/10/24 11:19 PM
HAPPINESS IS A GIFT WE GIVE OURSELVES
When you experience true happiness, your body reacts by way of neurotransmitters. There is a lot of stress going on in the news and sometimes, within families or business too. Seek comfort in the environment.

FEED YOUR BODY - FEED YOUR SOUL
Happiness boosts the immune system. Our bodies need food and nutrients, but don't rely on food alone to reduce stress and make you happy. Your future depends on healthy lifestyle.

Larkspurs or Delphinium with lilies harmonize nicely in a vase. They complement each other. By the same token, nourishment to our bodies and souls goes together … (24 comments)

happiness: Tuesday in Choose Day - Choose Happiness - 09/26/23 07:11 AM
Tuesday is Choose Day. Today I choose to navigate through life towards happiness. Some people may think money leads to good fortune and good fortune leads to happiness. While the tides can turn when money flows, there is no guarantee. There is a tide to every turn. A tide can wash us up high and dry leaving us in tears. How long does money and happiness last? Nobody knows.

I learned early on that life holds no guarantees. Your life history requires a special kind of thinking. Challenges and opportunities are part of life. A graduation diploma may or may not lead … (20 comments)

happiness: Throwback Thursday - Filled With Hope - 03/16/23 04:04 PM
Hope
Two years ago in March, I was the Sales Agent for a lovely couple who were newly weds. They relocated to Texas. At the closing table I gave them an Orchid Plant and a few other gifts. She smiled and said, I had to leave my Orchid behind and this is the perfect gift. She hugged me tightly.
We talked about new beginnings and hope. What I did not share at the time is, I needed hope too. So, I went back to the same florist shop and bought myself some hope. It was beautiful until the flowers departed. I kept it and … (5 comments)

happiness: Happy Easter for April 17, 2022 - 04/17/22 06:06 AM
The spirit of Easter is about hope, love, and joy. Wishing you all the happiness life can give and hoping your day is extra special on this Easter and Pashcal Full Moon!
Isn't it wonderful that Easter falls on the first Sunday after the 'paschal full moon!' The past two evenings in Flower Mound, Texas were beautiful with the full moon. The date is set based on the tying in together of the vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, which in this case was on March 21. Church dates do not necessarily coincide with science.

However you spend your Easter Sunday may you … (29 comments)

happiness: The Wednesday Edition for 3/25 - Happiness & Resilience - 03/25/20 03:29 AM
"You were designed for accomplishment,
engineered for success, and endowed with the
seeds of greatness." ---Zig Ziglar

Happiness is knowing that Calloway's Nursery in Flower Mound is apparently considered "Essential Services," because they were open yesterday, I stopped in to buy some new plants. I chose mostly perennials over annuals because they were created for a long or indefinite period of time. However, I did pick some annuals too for immediate gratification.

After planting my flowers and turning on the sprinkler system, I noticed a mother and her two young daughters gather around the flowers I planted on the front lawn. As I kept my … (28 comments)

happiness: Happy Sunday - 11/10/19 - 11/10/19 06:13 AM

Puppy face got my attention while driving yesterday. I was glad we made eye contact at the traffic light. He could see me, smell I was there, and I wondered what made this puppy so cute? If the light never changed, I would not have cared for this this little puppy continued to stare. Without a reasonable doubt, this puppy wanted me to smile, so I did. Happiness can be found in just another face away. Yay! I was happy!

Was it chance luck I got caught by the light or a stroke of luck puppy face wanted to put a smile … (15 comments)

happiness: Results are a Vision - Happiness is Contagious! - 02/21/17 03:12 PM

I just finished reading, "Think About that First Impression," by Nick & Trudy Vandekar who wrote a great story after being inspired by a post written by Sharon Tara! They were both wonderful! As I read their stories and watched Nick's video I got that surge of happiness from one of my earliest recollections of first impressions which resulted in perfect bliss!

What would it be like to wake up every day and every day was filled with the anticipation of something beautiful, exciting, and that feeling of falling in love? As I concluded from watching Nick's video, if you ever want to … (46 comments)
