One of the earliest movies I watched during the month of October around Halloween was Arsenic and Old Lace, starring Cary Grant, Boris Karloff, and Peter Lorre. The movie was produced long before I was born. The movie was in black and white shown on T.V. regularly around Halloween. It was a family favorite. Highland Village is a small community bordering Flower Mound, TX. The house burned to the ground yesterday, on June 12, 2022, because the people put barbeque ashes in a trash can and put it in the garage. Nine firetrucks from three cities came to put out the fire. The couple who owns the house are lucky to be alive. The Flower Mound Fire Department provided mutual aid to our neighboring community.
