patricia feager: Dog Days of Summer - Just Grit and Bear it! - 08/03/19 12:24 AM
This is a combination re-blog of the post I wrote on 7/31 before knowing about the August Challenge from Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, CRS 602-380-4886 and I added more photos and verbiage to qualify.
The definition says dog days of summer have nothing to do with dogs but everything to do with sultry weather. First and foremost, I want to be clear this photo was taken at the Dallas Zoo and the animals are not abused. The gorilla and the lions in my photographs found a cool spot to lie down which was very convenient for visitors who watched in the viewing area behind … (22 comments)

patricia feager: National Day of the American Cowboy - July 27, 2019 - 07/24/19 09:38 AM
"If you're somebody that gets a chance to go somewhere...
that has to work somewhere or go to another city, then do your best to see it.
Because I just think that's the best way to have an interesting life."
---Brad Paisley
Summer wouldn't be fun in summer if it wasn't for Fort Worth, TX! Did you ever know a kid who didn't want to be a Cowboy? Or a Cowgirl? Riding horses and being around horses has a way of teaching one many life lessons. If you never dreamed about Cowboys or Cowgirls, horses, and having fun, well then.... fiddle-dee-dee! Now's your chance to … (15 comments)

patricia feager: So I Know You'd Prefer New Construction but ... - 07/22/19 04:40 AM
Motivation Post for 7/22/19

"Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy
things they don't want to impress people they don't like."
---Will Rogers
What is a dream house is just a matter of perception and the biggest difference is between
The building of New Construction takes time. What you can afford or can't afford to spend while waiting for Certificate of Occupancy makes all the difference. The amount of time it takes to build depends on many factors such as weather conditions, planning and zoning restrictions, permits, materials, excavation, utilities, manpower, etc. New construction is built on unimproved land and at the … (18 comments)

patricia feager: Making a Contribution For Peace For All Mankind - 07/21/19 06:02 AM
Motivational Post for 7/21/19
Essay by Patricia Feager
"Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the Moon.
We came in peace for all mankind."
---Neil Armstrong
This isn't a moon shot but isn't the Water Lily a beautiful symbol of peace? We owe a debt of gratitude to our Astronauts' who courageously gave and sacrificed so much more than what many people will ever do in a lifetime by braving the wilderness in galaxies from outer space.
Theirs, our Astronauts quest for the moon brought countries and people together in hopes of bringing "peace for all mankind." Whenever there is a quest to achieve … (19 comments)

patricia feager: Summer Fun Begins with Being Prepared - 07/20/19 03:21 PM
July 20, 2019
The Cities within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex are all pretty hot over the summer months. I prepare for the heat in March or April by doing three things:
1) Take my car in for service maintenance
2) Schedule home AC service
3) Prepare a Summer Emergency bag
Pathwater is a 100% refillable and recyclable aluminum bottle with purified water inside. It keeps my water cold. I believe in refilling not landfill. Everything I need I carry with me in my Dallas Bag.
Something fun for kids to do and for people to watch to keep cool is Ice Skating!  At the Dallas Galleria Ice Skating Center … (18 comments)

Inspirational Thoughts, Photos & Quotes
by Patricia Feager
"Dost though love life? Then do not squander time
for that is the stuff life is made of."
--- Benjamin Franklin
Gone With The Wind, one of the greatest movies of all time is a classic with many memorable quotes and stupendous photography and costumes. The memorable sign outside of Twelve Oaks Plantation "Do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of" is timeless advice. The Civil War was a definite turning point in U.S. History and although Hattie McDaniel (June 10, 1893 - October 26, 1952) was no Benjamin Franklin, when it comes … (11 comments)

No rain, clear skies, breezy but not windy, united we stand in Flower Mound to wish everyone a very Happy 4th of July! Although there may be miles between us, we share our smiles, laughter, love, and cheers!
My thoughts are with those serving our country and are working hard so that we can continue to enjoy our freedom. For their sake, and all those who weren't so lucky, peace begins at home. "Should auld acquaintance be forgotten, and never brought to mind?" What would that look like? No bullying! No harsh and disrespectful criticism? Enormous growth and opportunity with great jobs, … (8 comments)

The people in the photograph may look like T-Mobile Store Manager and Employee, but I call them my Super Man and Super Woman. Elizabeth usually always greets me first and knows me by name. Inspirational Thoughts for 4/17/19
by Patricia Feager
"The presence of passion within you is the greatest gift you can receive.
Treat it as a miracle."
---Wayne Dyer

Looking out into the fields of Indian Paintbrush wildflowers behind a barbed wire fence, I was reminded how the results of passion to survive whatever type of adversity comes along, regardless of whether it is because of humans, the weather, disease, or natural disaster leave lasting hope for others years to come.
Do not be afraid. Passion is the medicinal fix that produces courage, inspiration, motivation, and determination to appreciate everything that is in front of us now. All we can … (12 comments)

Tulips are a passageway into Spring & New Beginnings
--- Patricia Feager
Pilot Point near the City of Denton in Denton County in Texas is a great place to feel the beauty of spring at your feet, or in my case, getting down on the ground and looking up to happy faces to an array of lovely tulips. And so, I tiptoed through the tulips ever so gently and took in the sights, colors, and scents of spring. My soul was overcome with joy and the clouds could not dampen my spirits. It was a lovely day and I hope … (26 comments)

Now is the time to be green
--- Patricia Feager
While running into the grocery store to pick up groceries at Market Street in Flower Mound, I ran into the Recycle Man! This robot creation using Michelob Ultra Light Beers reminded me that today is my parents' anniversary. They got married 71 years ago. Although they only survived 50 years of wedding anniversaries, they taught me to recycle at a very early age. As first-generation Americans, the passed the torch to me: "The Golden Rule, truth, honesty, work, money, integrity, and family values. When my father served in WW11, … (22 comments)

Motivational Post
by Patricia Feager 1/13/2019
A walk in a park is reason enough to get motivated. When I came upon some ducks, the message was clear which caused me to pause and think a lot about the following topics:
Intimidation Bullying Getting Attention Showing Off Aggression
In my illustration of duck tales, there were about a dozen ducks onshore and only one in the water who didn't get out. That one duck in the water ruffled its feathers, showed off, did a lot of squawking to get attention while the others remained silent, listening, staring, barely moving, simply watching the one in … (22 comments)

Weltanschauung What it Means
Active Rain 's Challenge - Weltanschauung
By Patricia Feager, 1/8/19
My years of experience on ActiveRain and in the business has given me a sense of belonging with people who share similar experiences in the real estate industry. Although I can make a case for each and every rule, I would have to say number 5 is extremely important because it touches on my values with regards to “constructive dialogue” between the membership which “fosters transparency among consumers about the industry.”
There is no doubt about it, consumers are bombarded with information from many different resources. Many sources are fake … (25 comments)
