As you know, it is our pleasure to feature the work of local artists on our "Wallingford Inspires..." art wall throughout the year, sometimes solo artists, sometimes a group of artists. This time around we have had the pleasure of featuring the work of a very talented group of photographers, the Wallingford Camera Club.
Founded in 1976, the Wallingford Camera Club has long offered a friendly, pressure-free environment for anyone interested in photography to learn and share photography information. Alyssa is a life-long Wallingford resident and a high school student in the Wallingford Education Enhancement Program. Alyssa's art is as unique and bold as she is, and she creates it in a rather unorthodox way. Since the start of January it has been our pleasure to feature the work of another local artist on our "Wallingford Inspires..." art wall, Patricia Tencza Reig. Pat is a 5th generation Wallingford resident and retired nurse. She started with with pen and ink designs but now favors smooth pastels as her favorite medium, and her favorite scenes to paint are landscapes and beach scenes.
