fort worth: I Just Had My Home Foreclosed On - Do I Get "Special Treatment" If I Buy Another REO Property?

My broker secures a lot of HUD foreclosure listings in the Arlington and Mansfield in Dallas-Fort Worth area that are assigned to agents in the office for oversight and follow up with propsective buyers. In the "thought we'd heard it all" category, I recently encountered an potential buyer client who had an interesting perspective regarding her eligibility to by an REO property. She told me that she had recently gone through a foreclosure on her home, so she wanted to know if she received "special consideration" in the purchase of another REO property!
