The Venice Island Underground Storage Tank Project will take three years to complete and will be 400 feet long, 75 feet wide and 25 feet deep. It will have the capacity to store up to four million gallons of water and sanitary sewage during heavy rains.

Just dropped into the Main Street Market in Manayunk yesterday at the corner of Grape and Main. I have passed this store a number of times in the last couple of months and this was the first time I had a chance to check it out. The butcher is Harry Ochs from the Reading Terminal Market who I am happy to report still has the best selection of meats and poultry products and the same great service that made his shop an institution there.
