Coeur d'Alene Idaho Waterfront Homes for sale. This little deer was caught in the melting ice at our cabin in North Idaho. After several hours of struggling he finally broke free and made it to shore. It was scarry for awhile! Not sure why he tried to cross in all that broken ice and slush but I'm shure he'll think twice before he tries it again! It's amazing how they can survive freezing temperatures for that long.

The National Association of REALTORS announces that lobbying efforts paid off: CLOSING DATE EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 30TH (June 30, 2010) Congress has passed an extension of the Homebuyer Tax Credit closing deadline, the Homebuyer Assistance and Improvement Act (H.R. 5623). This extension applies only to transactions that have contracts in place as of April 30, 2010. The new closing deadline for eligible transactions is September 30, 2010. There will be no gap between June 30 and the date the President signs the bill into law. The Associated Press just announced: Homebuyers tax credit extension fails Home buyers already under contract for a home by April 30, 2010 will still have to close escrow no later than June 30, 2010 in order to receive the $8000 first time Homebuyer tax credit or the $6500 tax credit for repeat HomeBuyers. Bill, H.R. 4123, if passed, would have given these Homebuyers an additional 3-months to close (September 30, 2010). The vote was 57-41, three short of the 60 needed to beat a Republican filibuster. It was a another great day on the Lake in Hayden Lake, Idaho. We picked up the Lawrence's at their dock and cruised around the lake visiting our lake neighbors enjoying their docks, beaches and water toys. Afterword we enjoyed a fabulous dinner of Rib-eye Steaks and fine wine on our deck. Ahhh, living here is like being on vacation!

Who said nothing is selling??!! I just hung 3 SOLD signs this week. Two SOLD for the highest prices for their type of property ever!! That includes our "PEAK." We may not be selling at that fast paced frenzy of 2005 but we are actually selling quite a bit. As long as it is priced competitively and shows impeccably.... it will sell. The worst thing a Seller can do is price too high hoping a Buyer will make an offer. Buyer's are bypassing the "Overpriced" and going right for the "Good Buys."
