As some of you may have seen from earlier blogs, I moved last year. Last week, I decided to claim one of the rooms that had turned into an "I'll get to this stuff later" storage space. Here are some gems from my efforts.
These two handsome gentlemen are my grandfathers from my Father's and my Mother's side respectively during WW I. I know Grandpa McCormick (the first one) made it all the way to Washington, D.C. during the war. I'm not sure where Grandpa Moore served.

TBT: Back to the '80s
Very basic survival training. I was in the Army and stationed in Alaska from 1983-1985. We had to build basic shelters and spend a night in it. Fortunately, it wasn't too cold.
A pony ride just isn't enough. My son in Arizona around 1987.
