college: Trip to Baldwin City

Well, we just returned home from Baldwin City Kansas where my son is going to attend Baker University in the fall.
(see my post on the subject here) We had to attend a Scholarship Day for him to be able to receive more money. It was a beautiful trip even though the weather was terrible. It was a cold 24 degrees and overcast and windy. Then on the way home it rained. I hate driving in the rain. But all in all it was a great overnight trip, shared with my two sons. college: The verdict is in!

So it is final..... my son Alan will going to Baker University in Baldwin City Kansas to attend college in August. I am so happy and yet so sad. I have three children and this one is my middle child, oldest son. He just turned 18 and he has been awarded a scholarship to play football and get his education!!!!!! I am one PROUD MOM! With the departure of Alan (handsome son above), I will be left with one more at home and then I will be an empty nester!!! Yikes... am I really getting to be that age already?
