landlord: There is no Black Friday for your landlord
- 11/25/11 03:00 AM
There is no Black Friday for your landlord Black Friday is the day that retailers are supposed to begin turning a profit for the year. Millions of shoppers voluntarily turn over their money, or their credit in exchange for stuff they recently decided that they cannot live without. The retailers are happy because they will make a profit this year. Mr. Landlord, however, is unable to celebrate Black Friday. Why? He cannot celebrate Black Friday or any other day when his investment moves from loss to profit because he always turns a profit. He has to spread his celebrations over the (2 comments)
landlord: America is Becoming a Landlord's Delight
- 10/28/11 08:46 AM
According to an article by Lawrence Yun there are 1.4 million more renters in America today than a year ago. This is good news for landlords and aspiring landlords, because the increased demand without corresponding increases in supply translates to higher rents. If you're thinking about buying some income property, the cash flow projections should become increasingly more attractive. landlord: Is your landlord a lunatic?
- 07/07/11 04:36 AM
He may be a lunatic, but he's got you making his mortgage payment every month. Your landlord understands the value of home ownership. landlord: Buyers ask, "When should I buy?"
- 05/23/11 05:53 AM
There are a few fortunate folks who are able to buy a home today, but they're not convinced that this is the best time. Many of them are ready to declare independence from the dictator who is affectionately known to them as Mr. Landlord. They want a yard and another bedroom and a dog. They wish they had some control over what they can do to the place they call home. They might want to paint the walls colors that scream independence. Other folks still have some equity in the home that they own, but it's lost a lot of value. (0 comments)
landlord: How's Your Landlord?
- 05/11/11 09:54 AM
It's been a while since I posted anything about one of my favorite people, your landlord. You know, the guy who just raised your rent and scolded you for not following all his rules. Landlords are renters' favorite people, I guess. They must be your favorite, because you're making their mortgage payment for them. And, yes, there is probably a huge tax deduction for the interest on the mortgage. And, no it's not your deduction, it's your landlord's. You make the payment and he gets the deduction. Your landlord is happy this month, because the rent increases are helping him pay (0 comments)
