Cleveland, Ohio's First Energy Stadium started its Spring/Summer Season on May 29, 2013 when it hosted an International Soccer Game. The U.S. National Soccer Team played the Belgium National Soccer Team. This was termed a "friendly game" as it was a practice game, not yet in preparation for the International Soccer Tournament in the future. This is only the 2nd time Cleveland has hosted an International National Soccer Game. The last time was in 2006. Attendance was good, 27,720. In 2008, 199 homes sold: an ave list price of $318,452; sq ft of 2682; list price/sq ft of 113; dom/cdom of 86/127; ave sales price of $300,173; & sales price/sq ft of 107. After living in Westlake for 25 years, we, along with fellow Westlake residents, have reason to celebrate this holiday season. After decades of planning, the major link between I-90 and I-480 is complete. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the Crocker-Sterns extension is set to occur on 12/18/08. It opens for regular traffic the same day. This event will have a significant, positive effect on Westlake. Westlake is already a destination city for buyers looking for an upscale community that "has it all." However, more buyers looking for an easy commute from home to work can consider Westlake, wherever (2 comments)
