Census Bureau data released last week show that Myrtle Beach continues to outpace most metropolitan areas in growth - despite the gloom and doom perpetuated by our friends in the national media. The fastest-growing areas in the United States are in the Sunbelt. Experts credit much of the growth in the South to strong local economies and housing prices that are the most affordable in the United States.
