jacksonville: What the heck is a Referral, anyways? - 03/19/18 11:33 AM
It’s a beautiful day and you get a phone call/text/email from your past realtor asking for referrals. And then your mind starts racing:
“What the heck does that even mean?”
“Is their business not doing well?”
“Why should I refer them to my friends and family?”
There’s subtle and not-so-subtle ways that realtors may ask for a referral or review of their service and your experience. And even more likely than not, this is EXACTLY how your realtor asked you:
“A referral from a friend, past client, or colleague is the highest compliment I can ever receive.”
“The greatest form of flattery is a referral.”

Studies revealed that over 90% of buyers and sellers have used Realtors in recent transactions.

Responsibility– When you are working with a Realtor, YOU are their priority. This means you have a professional looking out for your financial best interest. Realtors are contractually obligated to protect … (2 comments)

jacksonville: Jacksonville Museums To Enjoy During The Winter Months - 12/05/16 10:57 AM
Cold weather is fast approaching in Jacksonville, Florida. Yes, that’s right. I said “Florida” and “cold weather” in the same sentence. While we get to enjoy mild temperatures year-round, we do have the occasional (arguably) cold days. The months of October through April tend to bring more brisk temperatures in our area, which means less beach days. This leaves us searching for indoor activities.
While Jax boasts gorgeous beaches such as Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and Atlantic Beach, it also has tons of indoor activities to explore-lucky us!  One of our favorite things to do to beat the winter blues … (1 comments)

Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions a person can make. As a first time home buyer, there are so many things to take into consideration. For example: Ask yourself “why do I want to buy a home?” If your answer sounds anything like “well, it’s a buyer’s market”, or “everybody is buying a home” (they’re not), then you may want to reassess. Now, don’t get me wrong; IF you are 100% ready to purchase your first home, then yes, making the move in a buyer’s market is a great way to get the best bang for your … (0 comments)

jacksonville: Post Hurricane Matthew - 10/10/16 03:59 AM
As we well know, the Florida coast (along with many other regions) was recently hit by Hurricane Matthew. The neighborhoods in the Jax Beach areas took the brunt of the hit. Thankfully, there has not been any irreversible damage reported. It has been awesome to see how locals have rallied together to help their neighbors with cleanup. This is one of the reasons many reasons I love the people of Jacksonville. It is wonderful to see the good in people. Jax Beach PD, and Jax Beach Fire and Rescue, along with Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office did a great job of keeping up … (3 comments)

jacksonville: Our Top Five Favorite Restaurants At The Beaches - 09/28/16 03:41 AM
Jacksonville, Florida is known for many things, such as its bustling beaches, parks, multicultural events, and diverse neighborhoods. My favorite feature, however, is the copious amounts of food that seems endlessly available.  Being an Ohio native, I came from a small city of about 20,000 people. I grew up mainly on home cooked meals, and the occasional family dinner at a chain restaurant such as Applebee’s or Tumbleweed. If I wanted to eat somewhere new and exciting, I had to make the seventy mile drive to Columbus, and risk fighting the post-stuffing-my-face nap, the whole drive home. That being said, I … (18 comments)
