homeowners: Website: Mastered. Listings: Gained. - 03/01/18 02:54 PM

Howdy ActiveRainers,
Tim here, with a reality check: your website does not have to be perfect.
But it can be if you "master" a few things.
"Mastering" your website. Cool concept.
But let's break it down, word for word.
Mastering (verb): acquire complete knowledge or skill in (an accomplishment, technique, or art); gain control of; overcome.
Website (noun): a connected group of pages on the World Wide Web, maintained by one person or organization and devoted to a single topic or several closely related topics.
So what will the free WEBSITE MASTERY WEBINAR do? It'll help you:
- MASTER the art of keeping people on your website...
- MASTER your representation as an "ALL things real estate" agent (home selling, home buying, home improvement, home care)...
- MASTER your knowledge and use of cutting-edge real estate technology (automated home seller lead capture included)...
- MASTER the smooth delivery … (0 comments)

I understand most of you don't prefer (or need) to rely on "scripted" content when it comes to verbal communication. However - it never hurts to brush up on conversation starters and/or navigation advice, right?
The infographic below is a follow-up to our original post entitled More Listings In 2017: Your Starter Kit. Hoping you find it equally helpful on some level.

homeowners: How ‘Bout That Weather? (+6 Signs It’s Time To Sell) - 09/12/17 02:09 PM
Weather across the nation has been rather…volatile (yeah, that’s putting it mildly).
From Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Jose, to intermittent thunderstorms during a 107°+ heat wave in the local San Francisco Bay Area - weather is a hot (and somewhat terrifying) topic these days, to say the least.
You care about your clients, right?
Then, why not express it more often and at every relevant, honest chance you get (i.e. – in light of these bizarre weather patterns, show some urgent, genuine concern for folks’ well-being as we head into an unpredictable fall/winter season)?
What does that mean and look like?

homeowners: List More Homes By Being A Source Of Gratitude & Trust. - 07/19/17 02:39 PM
Tim here, with another quick, empowering, listing-oriented marketing tip.

A study by the National Bureau of Economic Research finds that once homebuyers become homeowners, they can expect to spend an extra, whopping $5,000 on home care, renovations, improvements and “surprise costs” (i.e. – issues surrounding plumbing, leaks, roofing, repairs etc.)* (Full story: https://goo.gl/E95CC5)

This is it. Your chance to, once again, deliver the goods, save the day, and secure a listing or more in the process.
Making this transformation of a “house into a home” isn’t easy. So why not help make it as affordable and convenient for folks as possible? It’ll do nothing but boost your chances … (0 comments)

homeowners: Your Listings: Strike While Iron & Market Are HOT. - 06/02/17 01:34 PM

Tim here, with some good news (re: your listing opportunities) as we head into June.
As we reported last month - Zillow has been under fire and faces a lawsuit based on their misleading Zestimates. Home values and resources for your homebuyers and homesellers should be accurate and reliable. Zillow is, clearly, NOT the answer.
It's time to strike while the proverbial iron - and housing market - are hot.
Zillow is down for the count. And your chance to deliver what your homeowners need in order to sell with you is readily available.

homeowners: Zillow Under Fire (Again) + Alt. Solution! - 05/26/17 04:05 PM
Howdy folks,

Tim here, wanted to wrap up the week (and head into Memorial Day) with some good news (re: Zillow facing another comeuppance).

An article I read today, entitled Zillow real estate Zestimates under fire, reports “…an Illinois real-estate broker filed a lawsuit based on the Zestimates and their accuracy…saying that potential buyers will look at the Zestimate compared to the actual market price of a house and be misled.

That lawsuit was eventually dropped, but a second one was filed, this time seeking class action status on behalf of several Chicago-area builders that could ‘consist of millions of homeowners,’ … (4 comments)

homeowners: Millennials: A New Source For Increased Listings. - 05/22/17 01:00 PM
Howdy folks,

Tim here, how’s your week going?
With inventory at record lows, it’s imperative to secure listing opportunities by any means necessary. Agreed?

This includes targeting the hottest homebuyer demographic in the nation: millennials.
The logic behind this? Your homebuyers become your homeowners, and your homeowners eventually become your home sellers. So, let’s start at the very beginning (a very good place to start) – pre-paving more listings by securing more homebuyers (i.e. – your eventual home sellers). Sound good?

A few critical statistics:
- “Millennials [are] the nation’s largest living generation.”
- “Millennials make … (5 comments)

homeowners: Time To Get Motherly (Re: Reclaiming Lost Listings) - 05/12/17 01:21 PM

Howdy ActiveRainers,

Tim here, ready for the weekend?

Reminder – this Sunday is Mother’s Day, which can evoke feelings of warmth, nurturing and contentment (i.e. - feelings your leads, clients, buyers and sellers should ALL experience, before, during and after any and all interaction(s) with you). Of course, there's a fine line with the nurturing part - you don't want to come off overbearing, needy, or suffocating.

I suggest getting traditionally "motherly" (i.e. - of, resembling, or characteristic of a mother, especially in being caring, protective, and kind).
Carefully delivering what's relevant to folks, protecting their own interests, and holding a consistently kind demeanor - will … (0 comments)
