inventory: "More listings" promo from the hottest market in the nation. - 10/09/17 01:39 PM

Hey ActiveRainers,
Tim here. How's business going?
Remember that "get more listings" promo I mentioned a while back? It's still up for grabs.
Just to recap, it includes:
- Increasing your listings.
- Saving hundreds of dollars each year.
- Protecting your homesellers from the competition.
- One-on-one training and access to cutting-edge, listing-generation technology.
- Weekly marketing tips and guidance to maximize your exposure and effectiveness when engaging with homebuyers and homesellers.
Plus: all of our marketing is designed in, and inspired by, the hottest, most in-demand real estate market in the entire nation (San Jose, California).* That speaks volumes. Why? Because we see low-inventory first-hand (all around us), and know exactly how to (strategically and technologically) help … (0 comments)

inventory: Politics aside, this is just bad news for your homebuyers. - 10/03/17 12:41 PM
Howdy ActiveRainers,
Quick question - how do “changes that would make homebuying less attractive” sound?* Yeah, not so pleasant. I know.
Yesterday I came across this headline: “The California Association of Realtors says the Republican Tax Reform Plan will eliminate the incentive for people to buy homes, shrink the middle class, and raise taxes on hundreds of thousands of California homeowners.” *
Irrespective of your political party affiliation(s), this (especially the parts about diminishing homebuyers’ motivation to purchase homes, and increasing taxes on homeowners) is pretty unsettling news, to say the least.
Inventory is already low. Your homebuyers, in particular, should (no, make that NEED to) feel energized and … (3 comments)

inventory: Your Listings: Strike While Iron & Market Are HOT. - 06/02/17 01:34 PM

Tim here, with some good news (re: your listing opportunities) as we head into June.
As we reported last month - Zillow has been under fire and faces a lawsuit based on their misleading Zestimates. Home values and resources for your homebuyers and homesellers should be accurate and reliable. Zillow is, clearly, NOT the answer.
It's time to strike while the proverbial iron - and housing market - are hot.
Zillow is down for the count. And your chance to deliver what your homeowners need in order to sell with you is readily available.
Want to get started?

“Homes are also spending less and less time on the market.”

inventory: Zillow FAIL & "Freaking Out" Over Low Inventory. - 05/18/17 03:14 PM
Howdy ActiveRainers,

Tim here, with a couple news articles that caught my eye - would love to hear your thoughts!
First off – looks like Zillow is in hot water.
An excerpt from an article entitled “Zillow Advertising under CFPB fire sets real estate industry on edge”: "Why would a new-media company founded to, as it says in its mission statement, 'empower' customers with new ways of shopping for and maintaining a home cling to an outdated way of doing business, rather than trying to disrupt it with a newer, better model?"
