Tim here, wanted to wrap up the week (and head into Memorial Day) with some good news (re: Zillow facing another comeuppance).

An article I read today, entitled Zillow real estate Zestimates under fire, reports “…an Illinois real-estate broker filed a lawsuit based on the Zestimates and their accuracy…saying that potential buyers will look at the Zestimate compared to the actual market price of a house and be misled.

That lawsuit was eventually dropped, but a second one was filed, this time seeking class action status on behalf of several Chicago-area builders that could ‘consist of millions of homeowners,’ … (4 comments)

With inventory at record lows, it’s imperative to secure listing opportunities by any means necessary. Agreed?

This includes targeting the hottest homebuyer demographic in the nation: millennials.
The logic behind this? Your homebuyers become your homeowners, and your homeowners eventually become your home sellers. So, let’s start at the very beginning (a very good place to start) – pre-paving more listings by securing more homebuyers (i.e. – your eventual home sellers). Sound good?

Election Day has me wondering - have you ever thought of your marketing as part of an ongoing election?
Like politics - catchy ads and slogans in real estate only get you so far.
Your "undecided voters" (leads and clients) don't want sweet talk or short-lived remedies.
They want honest answers and lasting solutions to challenges and issues they're facing.
What're you doing to rile up your base (your database, that is) of "undecideds?"
Well, you can't make someone buy or sell (or "vote" for) you.
But you can make them think of you when they're ready to make important decisions (buy, sell & refer)
