Although I remember reading previous posts containing something to the effect of: "I refuse to do Open Houses" or "Gee, I don't really see the point," I've taken the liberty of revamping one of our previous blog posts and turning it into an infographic (which, as you can see, provides some Open House tips and guidelines). 
So, whether you organize and attend them or not - you likely know somebody who does and might find this useful. ;-)

We all know staging can (seriously) make or break a deal - thus, our need to underscore proper advice and empowering guidance.

What is the difference between "have", "had" and "has?"
If you "have" an Open House this weekend..... And you find yourself engaged in a conversation with a neighbor, rest assured they "have" access to a real estate agent.
The obvious answer; the agent that helped them buy their home. However, you can also rest assured that statistically their real estate agent "has" a 11% chance of getting their repeat business.
This is due to habitual lack of follow-up, a weak Internet presence, or the fact that the average real estate agent stays in the business 2 years.
Bottom line, they "had" their chance.

 Today is the day you put them in your Client Relationship Manager, put in the notes that you took down and give the client a call.
If they are looking to buy, set them up on a search through your website, not through the MLS (there is no branding and domain name recognition when you do it this way).
If they are a homeowner in the neighborhood, set them up on a Seller's Corner alert so they won't need to go to another Open House and meet another agent.
