Program Titles: "Introduction to Feng Shui" & "Creating a Ba-gua Map Vision Board."
Date: November 1st and 2nd, 2017

While visiting the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, I came across an electric sign with vinyl text created by artist, Sam Durant called "End White Supremacy." The lettering was from an original handwriting sign carried during a civil rights New York protest in 1963.
Approaching Duran'ts sign, I thought it was a silent protest for the events that unfolded in Charlottesville, VA that happend not too long ago. When I read the date from when the sign was made (2008) I thought, wow..... its too bad this piece is still so timely.
