Someone special gave me a plaque not long ago; a plaque with a quote on it.

As a New York Feng Shui Consultant, I am often asked ONE question: Does my home need to look like a Chinese Restaurant? It's a common misconception with Feng Shui and I tell them absolutely not.
When making suggestions for any changes necessary, I always seek to work not only with a Client's budget but their style as well. Quite often nothing needs to show at ALL and some of the Feng Shui "remedies" we use are common objects such as lights or plants.

In the Black Sect version of Feng Shui, we take things very LITERALLY. Think of DRAINS, for instance. We believe we have to be careful of them as all our money can go right down those drains. DOORS are considered "Voices" in Feng Shui. Doors that are always kept closed or that stick, for example, can represent a person in that space feeling unable to Speak up.
