As a Feng Shui Consultant who is often in New York City - Manhattan - giving a Feng Shui Consultation, I often come across things I never would have seen. For example, walking back to Penn Station from a Feng Shui Consultation in Midtown Manhattan, I came across a small park....devoted to Katharine Hepburn (more pictures in an upcoming post). What I DO Have:
Two terrific "kids" that manage to be around for me.
My precious Mother who always encourages and supports me.
Some unbelievable friends that I couldn't live without.
A job that I absolutely LOVE.
A House.
A Car.
Enough to eat
Enough to pay my bills.
Lots of JOY.

I KNOW I'm not the only one this is happening to. When I think of my Feng Shui Consultations and know I am meeting someone for the first time, I remember all the things I have to go over with them to give them the very best help. It shouldn't surprise me after so many years of doing this wonderful work that there is one thing almost all my clients have in common: I will meet them with a handshake and three short hours later, leave with a hug.

Years ago (and yes, still today on occasion) I will do a Feng Shui Consultation for someone for free. There are people that contact me that have very sad situations in their lives and simply can't afford to pay for one. Not being the "business-person" I should have become years ago and believing so strongly that Feng Shui CAN and WILL help them, I will do a full consult and not charge them.

What I thought I had planned for March did not at ALL work out....and I am more then a bit surprised by all the unforeseen events that occurred. If anyone had asked me, I could have told them EXACTLY what I would be doing and where I would be on a certain day....or so I thought.

I think often of the word "Destiny." I sometimes wonder how much is really ‘written in the stars for you' and how much free will we have over each and every decision. A PERFECT New York City Day....When I can, I love to add pictures. Yes, Rod Stewart was right, every picture tells a story. I had written about that beautiful, spring-like day we had in January and showed several pictures of Central Park. Many of us use Altars. Some are for religious reasons (my Grandmother always had one in her home with beautiful Saints, Statues, Holy Water, Candles and a Rosary).
