In the Cantonese language number 4 sounds similar to “death” and due to that, a stigma against 4 evolved. So when we see the number 4, does it mean we'll have “back luck” coming our way? That all depends on how you CHOOSE to PERCEIVE number 4.

On Thanksgiving eve I visited The Public Theater in New York City for the first time and I have to say was pretty impressed!Conceived over 60 years ago, The public theater is one of the nation's first nonprofit theaters. The public has long operated on the principles that theater is an essential cultural force and that are and culture belong to everyone.
The play I saw was called "Office Hour." Playwright Julia Cho returns to The Public with a taut new drama about a teacher and student desperate to change the narrative of who they are and how their story ends.
If you have never been to The public Theater, please do yourself a favor and go.

Just taking a moment to say, Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing you all a day of love, fun, gratitude and togetherness. I am thankful for so many things, its hard to list them all. In short, a few things I find myself constantly giving thanks to daily is for the family I have been adopted by. The support, love and guidance is tremendous and I know that is not always the case, whether you live with your biological or adopted family. feng shui: Hiking Long Island NY: Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge - 11/18/17 02:31 PM

I've lived on Long Island NY for 33 years, thinking I've explored most of it and this tiny island continues to be full of wonderful discoveries. Allowing myself to take a break from providing Feng Shui Consultations, I decided to treat myself to a 7 mile hike throughout the Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge.
They have a center that is full of information on the local hikes, wildlife you could spot and even provide a museum and lecture center. I have to say, it was pretty impressive.

Looking for a cozy little spot on Long Island NY to grab breakfast and lunch? "Jam" is the place to go! It's located in Massapequa Park, NY. Keep in mind, if you wish to set up a time to meet with friends or family, you need to arrive earlier then the meeting time. "Jam" gets jamed due to the amount of seating available. But trust, its well worth the wait! I ordered Eggs Benedict and it was DELICIOUS! Prices are very reasonable as well.

After finishing up a Feng Shui Consultation in the City of Palmdale, CA I decided to check out a local hike called Barrel Springs Trail. Its a short 2.5 mile round trip hike, walk, run or horse ride; as you'll share the path with various locals and travelers a like. Elevation gain is only 207 feet, parking is free and just be sure to bring water, wear a hat and sunscreen. There is minimal shade and sun is pretty strong. If you have a furry friend, be sure he or she is leashed and they too can experience the trail.
