Yesterday I had a Feng Shui Consultation in Downtown Los Angeles, CA for a residential location. After completing a 3 hour session, I worked up a pretty good appetite. My client mentioned some great spots to eat in Boyle Heights, CA and So, right after saying our godbyes I headed over to El Gallito Restaurante.
I ordered Birria (Goat Stew), which was amazing!! :) It was really fresh, tasty and honeslty, you just need to go and experience it yourself. Olvera Street, known as “the birthplace of Los Angeles,” is a Mexican Marketplace that recreates a romantic “Old Los Angeles” with a block-long narrow, tree-shaded, brick-lined market with old structures, painted stalls, street vendors, cafes, restaurants and gift shops. Olvera Street was created in 1930 “to preserve and present the customs and trades of early California." Many of the merchants on Olvera Street today are descended from the original vendors.

The museum has some amazing collections of artwork, photograchy and sculptures. The photo above was fun to capture for the two ladies looking at the photo exhibit are twins and that is what the core focus of this display is about.
