manhattan feng shui: What are YOU Missing? Or do you Have it ALL? by Feng Shui Long Island & New York - 05/19/08 02:31 PM
 What I Don't Have:
The nicest house on the block.

A new, fancy car.
Lots of money.
A really well kept lawn.
Trendy, designer clothes.
Any fancy new gadgets that most people can't do without.

What I DO Have:
Two terrific "kids" that manage to be around for me.

My precious Mother who always encourages and supports me.
Some unbelievable friends that I couldn't live without.
A job that I absolutely LOVE.
A House.
A Car.
Enough to eat
Enough to pay my bills.
Lots of JOY.
It's easy to stay focused on things we are lacking … (32 comments)

manhattan feng shui: Real Estate and Feng Shui: What You should know if you're a Realtor by Feng Shui Long Island & New York - 05/11/08 05:31 PM
A Message to All My Realtor Friends on Activerain
The year I was in school for Feng Shui Studies was 1996.  I don't know if any of us in that first graduating class knew what would come of Feng Shui, if anything.  At that time very, VERY few people had even heard about it.  Often, if they had, it was very misunderstood.  We ourselves didn't know if it would be a passing "fad" or something that people would come to know and believe in.

manhattan feng shui: A BILLION Dollar Home--And it's based on New York Feng Shui! by Feng Shui Long Island New York - 05/01/08 12:07 PM
Feng Shui in New York.....Apparently The Mandarin Hotel hit a home run with Nita Ambani as well.
I thought this was interesting enough to pass along.  Especially since the economy is not at it's best at the moment.  Custom homes are one thing, but THIS is the world's first BILLION dollar home---and it's built on the principles of Vastu.
The lobby of The Mardarin Hotel in New York City (Manhattan).
Vastu and Feng Shui have been intermingled for years as many of the properties and the ideas behind it (such as The Elements and The Energy) remain the same.  Vastu is at least as … (23 comments)

manhattan feng shui: The Feng Shui of a Business in New York......by Feng Shui Long Island - 03/06/08 11:46 AM
Years ago, just after I became Certified as a Feng Shui Practitioner in New York and trying to get my business off the ground, I was employed by a hearing aid company called HearX.  They have locations in many areas of the county and I was hired because I was a Registered Hearing Aid Consultant-in a former life :)  I was only hired for the Front Desk position, however, as all HearX's on the East Coast require an Audiologist.
The business was located in Amityville, Long Island.  Some of you may be familiar with the town.  It was indicated to be the … (29 comments)
