motivation: What Is An Intention? And How Can You Increase Your Manifestation Powers? - 11/02/17 06:47 AM
What is an intention? Gary Zukav shares, “ it's a motivation for doing what you're doing. It’s an energy that infuses the DEED or the WORD.” To further this understanding of intention(s), you need to ask yourself, are you setting intentions from a place of LOVE or FEAR? This could mean are you doing something because you seek recognition to feel better about yourself (FEAR) or because you have something you wish to share and contribute to life and with others (LOVE).
To provide a foundation to build from, I invite you to read and test out 5 tips to increasing your manifesting … (10 comments)

Motivational Monday: There Is a Lesson In Your Pain

Life is full of lessons, some that are fun to experience and some that create the feeling of pain. This could be physical, mental, emotional and/or spirit pain. A saying my mother taught me to  help gage if I was was self inducing pain went like this, " Spirit warns you once, spirit warns you twice, the third time you stand alone."
If you see the same outcome with a given interaction with certain people or events, that is an indication you could be self inducing pain. How many times will you choose to repeat or allow … (4 comments)

Motivational Monday: Spend Time With Yourself
the-open-mind.com

How many of us do this, actually spend time with just ourselves?  The thought of being alone can be scary for many but from my own experience, I feel it's not about"being alone,"but rather it's about showing self-love.
From my own experience, I find spending time with yourself is vital to exploring who you are, enhancing your character, developing your problem solving skills and self confidence, developing self awareness and learning more about your surroundings and the people around you; allowing your observations to be as organic as possible.
As a bonus, by spending time with yourself, you learn to enjoy activities or partake … (8 comments)

Motivational Monday: Do As You Say
If you want to improve your health, do as you say. Eat better, be wiser about your food selection, embrace daily movement into your lifestyle and stretching. If you want to learn new things, do as you say. Open a book, go to workshops, watch quality programming that enhance your curiosity and thirst for learning. If you want to explore the environment and world around you, do as you say. Take your bike out for a ride, go for a hike or even hop on a plane (one of my favorites) and take a positive chance by going outside your comfort zone.

Motivational Monday: How Motivated Are You?

"I think it all comes down to motivation. If you really want to do something, you will work hard for it."

-Edmund Hillary

We all have, goals and dreams. But how motivated are you to put in the time, the dedication and discipline needed to follow through with the actions necessary? Many dreams fall to the wayside or become buried due to the lack of motivation and/or a combination of fear based thoughts. Find something that positively inspires you, that you believe in, that strikes your curiosity to learn, explore, to be adventurous. Find something that motivates … (16 comments)

motivation: What will you create today? By Feng Shui Manhattan - 12/10/14 11:59 AM
What will you create today?
Can you answer this question with conviction? Are you living on purpose and with direction? Are you exploring your options to the fullest extent; or could you be doing a lot better of a job by leaps and bounds?
Whatever your situation, you have power to create new beauty, love and art in each thing that you do. Very many of us dwell on what we don't have; therefore, we usually create stress and negativity instead of the positivity and light we could. What will you choose to create with your hours today or tomorrow? I … (15 comments)

Lou proves that you really do have all the time you need. You just have time taken up by things you could possibly do without: reality TV, video games, potato chip eating. They all can be replaced at least some of the time. :)
Thanks, Lou!

Feng Shui Motivation -Be Inspired
When you're inspired by a great purpose, everything will begin to work for you. Feng Shui talks about synchronicity unfolding. You connect with the right people, attend the right events and convey the right thoughts and actions.
Inspiration comes from re-connecting to your higher self, also known as spirit. When you become inspired, what appeared to be risky becomes a path you feel compelled to follow. Know it may not be the easiest path yet it will be the most rewarding.

Life Lessons - Learn to Be Still
Learn from your core that life will go on without your worrying.  Be still and listen to what life and the Universe look like, sound like—what it does or does not do. It is that it is. It ebbs and flows and rises and falls. Business will happen if it is to be done and through the right actions that go with what is needed.
Be still and know how to feel your heartbeat and hear your breath. See your life's visions as a painting. Take in. Drink in things small and large. Be … (16 comments)
