This is an iconic tree that has been located on the out skirts of New Paltz for years. It's survived many of the elements including server flooding that has uprooted tremendous trees in the past. But, not this one. It continues to stand strong. The element of "wood" in Feng Shui is represented by plants, flowers, and trees. It is symbolic of us being firmly rooted and grounded in life.

since putting up my bird house to attract more positive energy by the front yard, I have had the pleasure of seeing various birds visit the front yard. They bring Fire to to the front yard! :) I have also noticed an increase in business, knowledge for specific subjects, and helpful people in my life. Have a great Sunday all! Speechless Sunday: If you plant it they will come by New York Feng Shui consultant My mother had Butterfly bushes planted a while back and they have grown tremendously healthy ever since. Everyday I have the great pleasure of viewing beautiful butterflies busy at work refueling their bodies and taking "sun" baths to gain energy for their travels. Speechless Sunday.........Contemplation I know that I totally defeat the purpose of Speechless Sunday but I always have something to say. This was taken at MOMA (The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art) and while I plan to do a post one day of some of the treasures to be found there, to me this was a stand alone picture.
