Once again Clearwater Beach has been named the #1 beach in the country by TripAdvisor - only two years after winning the title in 2016 for the first time. Siesta Beach, near Sarasota was named #2 and St Pete Beach ranked 7th. Clearwater Beach, with it's white sugar sand and wide open space is hard to beat - and the beach experience is made even more popular by having the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the spring training facilities for baseball and soccer, and Dunedin and Clearwater nightlife nearby.
