A HUGE congratulations to the University of Alberta on taking back the Guinness record for the World's Largest Dodgeball Game! It took over an hour to play and 1250 dodgeballs, but 4979 students, staff, faculty and alumni managed to reclaim the record. They first claimed the record in 2010 with 1198 students. It's been bouncing back and forth between universities ever since, but yesterday, they managed to gain back the record. What a great way to bolster school and community spirit! Congratulations!

Here is the latest news release on the Edmonton real estate market from the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton. 2011 Edmonton real estate market provides stable and healthy base for 2012 Edmonton, January 4, 2012: The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton reported that the all-residential average price for real estate sales through the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in December was up 1.7% ($316,415) from a year ago.
