Welcome to Spring! Well at least the calendar says it is Spring, the temperature outside today tells us a different story. But that will be changing VERY SOON! I'm hoping if I emphasize that, Someone will hear and make it so! Spring has definitetly sprung in the local real estate market. Every listing agent I talk to tells me showings are way up. I personally have experienced my buyers having to compete against multiple offers on several homes. Sales were up in February significantly over January, and I expect March numbers, when availaible, will be up even more significantly. The … (0 comments)

If you are considering a move to the Kansas City Missouri area, please consider Platte County. All the school districts in Platte County are Top Notch. From Park Hill in Kansas City, to North Platte in Dearborn, Edgerton and Camden Point, great teachers, test scores, low teacher to student ratios and fine extracurriculars abound. Platte r-3 in Platte City and the West Platte Schools in Weston are just as great. When you or those you know are moving to the Kansas City area, consider the northland. The northland in Kansas City is basically anywhere on the Missouri side of the Kansas/Missouri state line, and north of the Missouri river. Most of the population lives in either Clay or Platte counties, though several adjoining counties can also be considered "northland." Why should someone consider the northland? That is an easy question for me. Quality of life.
