Improve the Security of the Doors in your Home

Improve the security of the doors in your home just by replacing the short screws that attach the strike plate to the door frame with 2.5-3 inch #8 stainless steel sheet metal screws. This will help in slowing down an intruder breaking through the door. The reason why is that the longer, and stronger screws actually penetrate the 2X4s behind the door frame instead of just the 1 inch door frame itself.

The big question I have for you is would you rather search the internet and find a great home based on the pictures, information and the way it is being marketed and then contact a REALTOR®, or would you rather drive around and tour the inside of homes on your spare time? realtor: Short Sales in San Antonio - 04/18/11 08:41 AM
Short Sales in San Antonio
I went through the MLS today to see how many Short Sales in San Antonio there were. Based on my quick search there are less than 200 homes in some status other than sold, and in the last 30 days 11 Short Sales in San Antonio sold. That is just over 6% of the 200 homes.
Let's compare the Short Sales with the HUD and VA homes. With over 14,000 homes in San Antonio that are available, about 50 are VA homes and just over 570 are HUD homes. In the last 30 days there were … (1 comments)
