contracts: Why Are Some Agents Plain Rude? - 09/01/07 03:03 PM
Let me start by saying I am speaking about a minority in the professional, but they do seem to come in clusters.
Rude Agent #1:
I get a call from an agent who says her client came to my open house two weeks ago and liked the home.  The client has been bothering her to put in an offer.  Did you pick up on that comment?
Rude Agent: I am in front of the home and see in the MLS you have to be there for showings.  How soon can you get here?  Me: I am with a client on the other side … (51 comments)

contracts: Bad Contracts, Sloppy Agents - 08/20/07 01:37 PM
When we look at what is happening the last few weeks in our industry, what is the number one concern?  If you were going to make an offer on a home to purchase it, what would be the one thing you would focus on?

If I get a bad client, I want the option of firing him.If a client is not wanting to work with me I don't want him.You can't make someone buy a home.If I get a bad client, I want the option of firing him.On the other hand I have run into a couple of situations that makes me think I may want to reconsider that decision:
Other agents have tried to poach buyers I have shown their listings to.Some lenders have offered … (19 comments)
