Mayor Hannemann announced yesterday that a ferry running from the 2nd City of Kapolei to Honolulu will be ready to run in April to provide some traffic relief. The Ferry system will include at least two boats that seat 150 people each. It will run from Kalaeloa to Pier 9 in downtown Honolulu. Now I am not a rocket scientist, but how will two boats with 150 seats bring traffic relief. Politicians love their toys. Over the last few years there have been several test projects for the ferry system. It was commonly thought that the system died. Apparently we were wrong. Still (9 comments)
