accountability: THE ENDING and YOUR PART - 12/21/19 09:11 AM
We often become outspoken after something goes full circle and more often than not we have a negative critique of it. This is brought to you courtesy of what they call "hindsight" or sighting of the behind events (that which has passed) that we conclude could have been done better or not done at all. The fact that always remains is this you always had a hand or a say so in those events! So, what happened?
WHERE WERE YOU?
Being in the moment is no myth. It also has advantages that when you are in the moment are obvious and at work. Just go … (8 comments)

accountability: YOUR EXCUSES ARE YOUR OWN - 12/14/19 07:05 AM
Here is a subject that causes discomfort starting with the one doing it first and then with anyone else it can rope in. Question: Have you ever heard someone pitch enthusiastically their excuse as if it was the gospel truth? For a person to do this they first had to convince themselves. Then, to make it stick convince you too
OWNING UP
Admitting what went wrong or how it could have gone better doesn't occur to the one who is in denial. NO. A story is manufactured and edited using the mind, emotions and five senses which add drama, scenarios and conjectures. In other words a … (23 comments)

accountability: DISCUSSING POLITICS or RELIGION or ? - 07/31/19 08:02 AM
There are subjects that come-up in life that can be difficult or sensitive to approach let alone discuss. Does this mean we cease to comment, put our true feelings on hold and let these subjects do as they wish? Subjects can range from being embarrassing to disgusting and from shocking to suggestive making the challenge to enter into these arenas daunting.
EMOTIONS TRIGGERED
The first thing to interfere with an investigation, report, finding or discovery of any sensitive or controversial subject or experience is the emotions that are triggered and surface when introduced. Those emotions tend to cloud, bias and detract or amplify what is … (4 comments)

accountability: the TROUBLE with TROUBLE - 07/13/19 12:55 PM
It plagues mankind. It intrudes. We give it life or death depending how we handle it.  For those that are quick to blame, deny or excuse and refuse to take responsibility and accountability for their part played or the part not played, I say you/we are the problem with this point in mind. There is assigned inner work to be done. Disgree? Trouble is delighted when you do...
WHAT WE ARE DOING WRONG
Wrong is subjective. It may not be  wrong to the wrong-doer by anothers eyes but what counts is our assessment first and then to consider what other dynamics are at work if … (8 comments)

accountability: HERE IS WHY YOU FAIL & HOW TO FIX IT - 04/08/17 06:18 AM
There is always a story to cover up the real reason as to why something didn't go right or less than expected. We are the first to buy into it. If it is plausible, then fine. However, if it is a reoccurring event or you find yourself the main-player every time, chances are YOU are the problem
ADMIT IT OR IT OWNS YOU
It is not easy to admit an error to another. To yourself it even takes some effort if you are a prideful person. That's why we come up with a story to tell ourselves or others as to why this happened and how. … (8 comments)

accountability: 13 WAYS TO SPOT A PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE AGENT - 04/05/17 07:00 AM
In every profession, there are people who stand out and they are called professionals. Professional defined: one who has special education, who possesses distinctive qualities with confidence, one who practices their highest being. All these convey an extraordinary person in their field. A person who becomes a professional has developed themselves into a proftible marketable value

accountability: DO YOU DO WHAT IT TAKES? (politic example used) - 11/03/16 05:30 AM
Many opt out when it comes to finishing what they have started and come away with a cute little story they can not only live with but to tell others too. The fact is that stories don't pay bills, help one socially to become intimate and don't pay-off on the deeper levels. What happened to follow through until complete? Accountability? Responsibility?
NO EXCUSES BANNER
This banner is not for the weak or the lazy. No excuses says that one will finish what they start, perform the objective, carry-on under all conditions & last but not least, allow for the result to make its … (4 comments)

accountability: HABITABILITY IS IMPLIED - 07/16/16 11:48 PM
Stop and think about this for one moment. When something is offered for rent or for sale, unless stated other wise, it is legally, civilly and morally assumed habitable and ready for occupancy. Representation to this effect is the default with it not being habitable requiring a disclosure, caveats & inspections. In the absence of otherwise, we then enter into the state of the situation which is subjective
WHAT IS CLEAN?
Its like the definition of clean. What one person considers clean another takes issue with. When a property comes under scrutiny lets say from a third party inspection, there will always be a controversy as to … (9 comments)

accountability: LICENSE TO THRILL - 06/04/15 11:23 PM
That be us Real Estate agents. We are involved in a profession that moves people deeply within and affects their well-being at the same time. We stand ready to play a significant part in hundreds of thousands of dollars moving around and the pace that it moves has to do with what we do or don't do
I KNOW YOUR AILMENT?
Everyone likes to share personal opinions. Take the medical arena. Not only do people share what their personal ailment or infliction was or is but the Internet allows for one to enlarge on their opinion considerably. However, unless you spent the seven years studying and interning, … (0 comments)

accountability: THE ENEMY LOOKS LIKE ME? - 03/08/15 01:05 AM
Sooner or later and at some point, life will teach you a very important lesson that is like a hard pill to swallow when it is first introduced namely that you could be the problem. Until we understand that we are always on a learning curve, it is convenient to blame others when things don't go right. But why start there?
I WOULD SEE IT?
Many people start there because they have not discovered the most important part of a problem which is the part they played in it. It gets harder when we cant see it making us definitely believe that it just could not be … (16 comments)

accountability: THE BUCK STOPS WHERE? - 10/17/14 03:49 AM
Whatever happened to the philosophy of taking responsibility for your actions, commitments or life as it is introduced to you? President Harry Truman, having made it all the way to the White House where you can go no higher said.."the buck stops here" and had a sign made to remind himself and others. Something happens, is going to happen or is not happening, it is on his plate to deal with it
THE BUCK STOPPED AND DROPPED
The other day, in a retail store, I was waiting to pay and leave. they were backed up and the manager opened up and said next which … (6 comments)

accountability: DO THIS IF YOU CAN - 07/29/14 07:42 AM
Leave everyone on a positive note. Here is the premise. You never know what is going on with the other person that is causing them to not be all they could be. Furthermore, you may never see this person again either. Another thought is that someone may need your talent or skill to help them to their next step. What am I driving at here? If you leave all in a fair and acceptable way, then you will NO have regrets now or later
EVERYWHERE YOU GO...THERE THEY ARE

accountability: UNLICENSED INEXPERIENCED FAMILY & FRIENDS - 07/17/14 07:36 AM
Why hire a professional Real Estate agent who has been doing Real Estate, is familiar with all the lingo and documents, procedures, pitfalls, must do's and don't do's, is connected to the industry and all the necessary supports when you have an opinionated family member, friend or neighbor who knows it all
LET ME HELP AND ME AND ME TOO
Everyone means well. I got that. What I don't get is why everyone thinks they know Real Estate. Why do so many people profess such strong opinions for this subject with others? What is it about this industry that attracts all these so called knowledgeable … (4 comments)

accountability: EVERY PRESIDENT GOES IN ONE WAY COMES OUT ANOTHER - 06/29/14 12:16 AM
When campaigning, candidates look good and move well and all are eager to hit the ground running. Once in however, I have noticed over the decades that within 1-3 years, their hair turns gray and their facial features become more distinct. The weight of the United States and all its problems are upon them
NO PASSING THE BUCK
"The buck stops here" was no idle statement but an eye opener. Reports from all sectors of the globe which never cease with never ending problems that affects the United States directly or otherwise all come to the attention of the President. There is no off switch … (6 comments)

accountability: WHO ARE YOU POINTING THAT FINGER AT? - 05/01/14 03:44 AM
The first stop when a finger is out and about should be YOU and then from there, everything unfolds clearly so it can be seen and dealt with. Things will not always go as planned. History tells us this and everyone else has a story on it in their current life too
WHAT IS A GUARANTEE IN THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE?
What is a guarantee? All we can do in life is do all we can do. Of course, we leave out irresponsibility, negligence and indifference in this statement. I am speaking when a person has done all they can and they will know this for themselves. … (2 comments)

accountability: THE POWER OF PERSONAL CHOICE - 04/18/14 08:34 AM
Conscious choosing is so over looked that if one doesn't literally stop to assess what is going on, an automatic response will kick in resulting in the choice maker saying...I never did that, meant it to be or the other person or circumstances caused it to fail...I say...lets slow down and talk a bit
STOP...LOOK...CHOOSE
Lets summon our personal ability to respond (responsibility) and examine it up close. Every single thing that happens to you from the dawns early light to your pillow claiming you at night is under your direction and control. HOW? Via the part you play or don't play...that's how!
SOME CHOICES BITE BACK

accountability: DELEGATING AND OUTSOURCING MAKES FOR GOOD BUSINESS - 02/28/14 10:59 PM
You take an important or mundane task and assign it out to someone else to get done. In effect, that person is representing you in the operation or event and reports back as instructed. It is not an assignment of accountability or responsibility but more like a helping hand
GROWTH
Having someone you can trust to get done what needs to be done so that you are freed up is valuable and a good tool to have in an operation that is growing. WHY? It allows you to take on more growth responsibilities that help grow the business and keep everyone busy

accountability: YOUR PERSONAL RADAR SCREEN - 01/28/14 05:32 AM
Whatever comes up on or in your life journey is for you . What to do about it will come later in some instances while certain things needing your immediate attention will beckon clearly. This radar I am speaking about is never off. Its your personal radar screen.
ITS YOUR RADAR
The premise is that there are no accidents in life so if you find your self in something, start asking yourself how you got there or involved. Don't fight this but instead inquire. What you may find will astound you. Whatever has come into your life showed up on your radar … (9 comments)

accountability: STOP THE EXCUSES - 09/01/13 12:06 AM
When the title of this post is drilled into your Psyche and then settles within your spirit or BEING, then life for you has begun. Who wants to hear why things don't happen especially when you are in charge? The whole Universe is based on the proven principals of everything doing what they were assigned to do without fail
