amish: CARS THAT SHUT OFF AND START AGAIN HORSES and BICYCLES

These cars (BMW) will turn off when at a stop light and when the light turns green, start up again and off you go. Apparently it is a gas-saving technique. Now, I am going to admit that I have always heard that starting and stopping a car engine wastes gas and puts wear and tear on things...Now they say different COMING SOON TO AMERICA Not only that, but American cars will be introducing this in 2012 as a standard feature. When storms thrash a home or property where there are Amish involved, their mindset is to gather up their neighbors and friends of whom they see daily and weekly and then plan a day where they all get together to rebuild what was knocked down. Real Estate is in and of itself such a solid concept. Look at what it is built upon. LAND and not just any land but a piece of the United States of America. When I visited with the Amish and saw how farm after farm flourished and how the community worked together for the common good, the values of owning just beckon you SUPPLY & DEMAND You see their little communities were running so well that the quality of life was good or superior to other places causing a demand to live in the area which caused prices to go up. … (4 comments)

I just got back from visiting three states one of which was Illinois. My wife wanted to visit a real Amish Community and see life through as they do. Now, you can look this up on the Internet and get exact professional data or you can read my little hands on, just got back..... thumbnail........It was fascinating..... 1.
