business cards: GUARANTEED FIRST IMPRESSIONS SUCCESS TOOL - 05/01/19 07:36 AM
Just about every-type of marketing or promotion is out there working or not all trying to make contact to sell services or products. All start to sound and look the same after a while making a consumer face some tough choices even to get started with. Why this one instead of that one? Well here is an edge to lien it your way
PLASTIC BUSINESS CARDS
Now everyone has a business card and they earn their keep! However, the next step-up is often ignored or even not known i.e. a plastic business card. Unusual in shape, texture and presentation, it remains the mother of all introductions … (7 comments)

business cards: AGENTS HAVE TO BE KNOWN - 01/07/18 06:49 AM
A friend of mine told me the story of an agent in line at the grocery store over-hearing a conversation from the person in front of them to the cashier having to do with his father passing away and leaving a house to be sold. At the right break in the conversation, the agent jumped-in and offered condolences along with the following statement: I am a Real Estate agent and if I can help with the home please let me know

business cards: REAL ESTATE ON THE MOVE (?) - 08/21/16 12:39 AM
I remember wanting to double end a deal because I had such a nice product and thought I would have no problem selling this right away. But keeping true to my fiduciary to the seller, if I got or get a serious inquiry from another agent, I will cooperate and take the deal if it meets my requirements. Client first and then business but anything can happen as we all know
BUYER AGENT TELL ME THIS PLEASE
I asked this buyer agent who brought me a winning deal this question: How did you find this buyer? His answer was so simple that it caused me … (2 comments)

business cards: PROMOTING YOU OR THE TRANSACTION? - 10/18/15 12:56 AM
How about both? The subject to discuss is when you are listing a property for sale OR when you are designing a business card, should your picture be on it? It is not unusual to see an agents picture on a for sale sign. But the questioned being begged is...isn't it about the property and nothing else?
HOW CUTE?
Let's look at business cards. If you were to go around giving out little wallet size pictures of yourself, people may or may not take them and most would just throw them away and shrug you off. But add a title or a function … (4 comments)

business cards: WHAT DO THEY SEE? - 08/21/15 06:18 AM
Who is they? Everyone who lays eyes on you everywhere you go. Who are they seeing? YOU. Doctors wear lab-coats, you know those white smocks, attorney dress in suits and some take it to the nines, and Real Estate agents? Well, that is a good question to ask and answer. Believe it or not, it is territorial meaning where you practice has a lot to do with how you present yourself
WHATS YOUR BRAND?
Also related is the type of product and pricing, location and finally what the actual agent sees as their role, branding and appearance when the curtain goes up and they go live. There is … (10 comments)

business cards: WHAT ARE YOU SELLING? - 01/02/15 10:58 PM
Everyone is selling something. EVERYONE! If you take care about how you look, sound, and act when going about your business or personal life, you are offering and demonstrating the product called YOU. The car you drive, the attitudes you employ and the virtues you share all say this is who I am.
YOU CAN ACT BUT...

business cards: IS THERE A REAL ESTATE AGENT IN THE HOUSE! - 09/27/14 01:20 AM
A doctor goes to the movies. He is ready to enjoy the show when someone faints, falls over or lets out a scream or a yell. Then, someone says...Is there a doctor in the house? The rest you know. A path is cleared, the doctor is let through and the treatment begins. A doctor is never off he is just out of the office right now
IS THERE A REAL ESTATE AGENT IN THE HOUSE?
Our business doesn't work that way. Someone doesn't belt out in a public place...Is there an agent here? LOL. However, keep this in mine. We are judged by appearance where … (13 comments)

business cards: GOT TAG-LINE THE OTHER GUY DOES - 09/03/14 07:52 AM
The Internet has taken over and everyone can now be heard. If life was a Rat Race before the Internet, it is now a population explosion of rats on top of rats meaning everyone can and will use it to their benefit and pleasure too. But what separates one professional, one product, one service from another? Tag-line!
GOT TAG-LINE?

business cards: SCRATCH THE ITCH WITH RICH contest - 08/31/14 06:05 AM
I want each contestant to come up with their personal, unique, one of a kind tag-line, slogan or short mission statement for themselves. It can have to do with your business product, service or name. It has to be short, sweet and pack punch. Choose Me, I'll work hard for you or I'm the best! ....doesn't cut it...
JOIN THE GREATS...here's the premise

business cards: BLOGGING IS AN ELECTRONIC BUSINESS CARD - 08/14/14 12:47 AM
In order to do business, one must be in business. Posting and blogging says you are. So tell me, what is the difference between passing out your hard copy business cards at a mixer, gathering, business meeting, social or promotion and blogging, posting and commenting online and in cyberspace? Letting the public at large know YOU are here is the focus. We are just shifting or broadening how we do it

business cards: POSTING BLOGGING COMMENTING are ELECTRONIC BUSINESS CARDS - 06/30/14 12:25 AM
That's what we are all doing when we enter into cyberspace and blog, comment or post. We are in affect giving out or sharing our contact. Some do it to socialize while others to build their business. Whatever the motivation, it is the established way to know and be known in today's interactive world
BEING KNOWN
Whoever the target audience is, when we post, blog or comment, we are allowing others to experience how we think, feel and conduct ourselves and a variety of subject matters. The more you share, the more of a comfort level takes place. Intimacy takes place when we share what and who we are

business cards: BUSINESS CARD COLLECTING AND SWAPPING - 06/30/14 12:12 AM
Yes to handing out your business cards. When attending functions and gatherings and one person would whoop out their cards and start handing them out,  that would cause another to do the same until the whole room was swapping cards. Then, it left as quickly as it came
WHAT TO DO WITH IT ALL?
Then, you had these card type book folders or indexes, hard cover with plastic inserts where a business cards fits perfectly in a slot. Then, it became a living book of a sort of contacts and you carried that around in a briefcase. It was on your desk … (5 comments)

business cards: I'M GLAD YOU ASKED THAT QUESTION - 02/24/14 11:36 PM
The professional must be ready to answer THAT question when it comes. In other words, you as the practitioner should be able to answer about your practice when called upon. If you got a long story, then your foot will never find the door. If it is short and sweet, the door opens a little wider
READY TO MAKE IT INTERESTING?
Less is more when meeting someone or being introduced to something new. We have to give people time to have their interests pick up or get tweaked. If your part is done well, then the very next step if they are interested is … (6 comments)

business cards: DISNEY DISCOVERED THIS DYNAMIC AND USED IT WELL - 11/21/13 11:48 PM
If you visit Disneyland, you wont notice right away what I am about to share. It is completely surrounded with a BERM of either trees or walls but the end result is when you enter into the LAND OF DISNEY, all other lands are blocked out. Walt didn't want you looking at traffic, roof tops, cars, outside buildings or street lamps. He controlled the environment you were now in once you bought a ticket

business cards: HOW DO YOU SAY PROFESSIONAL FILE...PROFILE - 08/27/13 02:09 AM
Profile...This is it. This is where it all comes alive and makes sense. Web sites, blogs, comments and posts all lead to home...Home is your profile and your profile is where you made a nest or a professional stand. It is in your tag-line, branding and public relating and it joins the ranks of marketing that never sleeps
ME-FILE IS PROFILE
I have profiles all over the Internet that point the way to me. I am the center or the living profile and remain available and eager to engage, consult, counsel with and guide those that need my specific help.

business cards: BEST PRINT CAMPAIGN OF ALL - 05/15/13 04:34 AM
We have all be doing this particular print campaign for most of our business lives. We dove into it and became complacent about it at some point and neglected it because it wasn't broken and didn't not require fixing. Besides, we complied. But what about updating? Fine tuning? Effectiveness? Target acquired? You have one now in your wallet or purse but is it pulling its weight?
THE BUSINESS CARD
Pull your out right now...please just do it. Now look at it. Is it speaking to you? What is it saying? Now, I want you to speak to it. Tell it how … (12 comments)

business cards: WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU FOR A REAL ESTATE AGENT: you have 3-5 seconds - 05/01/13 04:41 AM
What is it about you that stands out? Are you ordinary or EXTRA-ordinary. Do you have a specialty and have perfected it? Will the public at large benefit from your involvement? Will you? Will your clients...my fellow agents...? Just being licensed doesn't cut it anymore. Oh, you may be in the game, but if you want to play a GOOD game, tell me who you are and what you do in 3-5 seconds...That's right. It may all boil down to that....a few seconds.

business cards: BUS BENCH ADVERTISING WAS THE RAVE - 01/21/13 12:43 AM
I remember when it first came out. I saw an picture of an agent big as the back part of the bench and it was near prefect Hollywood standards that picture was. Then, the name of the company, contact information and a little tag-line. I thought to myself at that time, wow, these people are going places. What a great idea
GRAFFITI HAD ITS WAY
It is still a great idea but it has kinda done what water does...it seeks its own level. I don't see too much of it anywhere now a days. I do remember graffiti all over it … (13 comments)

business cards: OLD SCHOOL BUSINESS SYSTEM WORKS IF YOU DO - 12/19/12 10:34 PM
Today more than ever, many ways are out and about that can be used to bring in business to your business. The different systems abound because the different businesses can run many different ways. What we are always looking for, what you always use to keep score by is RESULTS. Results don't lie and the lack of them don't lie either
POLISH UP THE PERSON FIRST
My system is conventional perhaps too conventional for some. I built in on some solid principals that involve a lot of personal work. Here is the reason why I took the personal work approach: People buy … (11 comments)

business cards: SECOND IMPRESSIONS HAVE LESS VALUE THAN FIRST - 11/05/12 10:43 PM
Everywhere I go, I stand ready to answer the question that comes up often for me. What do you do for a living? To make the most of that answer, I have come up with a one liner that seems pretty effective. It had to be brief, to the point, tell the story and leave an impression. Not so easy on the spot to do unless your prepared
