The sense test is often referred to as the smell test too making the point of whatever is going on doesn't hold up to first impression. Don't confuse this with scrutiny or analysis. Its that first innocent exposure or introduction to whatever is visiting with you and how you KNOW what it is, or is not or for honesty's sake...you really don't know. What is regret? Interesting as the definitions fit the different scenario as there is no general regret but instead specific. A missed opportunity? That would mean a failure to act promptly or at all. A poor choice? That remains normal for the life journey. Disappoitment? For who? You or the other person?

Reality is the state of anything as it actually exists. You don't need to add or take-away from reality because it just is. However, people who are dysfunctional cannot resist the temptation to alter their reality and make it a substitute reality for them. Why would someone do that?
