compromise: YOU'RE RIGHT EVEN WHEN WRONG? (spiritual theme) - 12/27/19 06:57 AM
All of the life experience remains personal and subjective. What I like you may not and if I am cold you may be warm. How then can we argue what we are sharing? In the world of personal truths all are correct unto themselves. Its when others get involved compromise and perhaps perspectives change the dynamics. Lets take customer service for an example
THE CUSTOMER ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT BUT THEY ARE NEVER WRONG
I discovered this decades ago and it has served me well. Consider that you can find and critique anyone about anything but then ask yourself where is this going & why? In … (22 comments)

compromise: WHEN SELLER & BUYER REACH LIMIT - 02/10/17 03:18 PM
It starts out healthy enough. A pricing, a product, its condition and how bad someone may want it all come together rather quickly now-a-days. This is as it should be as Real Estate is alive, lucrative and in demand. Considering that they don't make land anymore, Real Estate works the premise well
AGENTS
Agents have to make sure all things come together as presented and stay that way through a certain period of time. All parties expect situations where give & take kick-in and compromise rules the show. Sometimes the unexpected appears making all take a deeper, longer look at the deal
HERE WE GO

compromise: TO FOOL ME YOU MUST FOOL YOU - 04/21/16 12:49 AM
This little subtle part of the human nature is alive & well in everyone & must be tamed & finally put down. When you become aware that your "honesty" levels are not answering to your character or rising to the respect of another, then yours needs some tweaking and maintenance. I am speaking about a type of demeanor that is less than honest. The personal one where we answer what people want to hear
WHITE LIES
Being sincere, saying what you mean & risking taking a position is hard for many to do for all the different reasons one might have whether real or imagined. … (2 comments)

compromise: LET THE COOLER HEADS PREVAIL - 03/18/16 07:37 AM
I am finishing up a Real Estate transaction that was similar to a roller coaster ride only it had more ups and downs and went on for weeks until it stopped and let everyone get off. Whew! It is prudent to point out that Real Estate in and of itself is relatively easy if handled right. In the handling, I recommend not only using professionals, but objective ones. Read on ...
NO TWO ALIKE
Every Real Estate transaction is different as is every home, condo or investment property offered for sale. Even when it appears that there are identical homes or property they can never … (13 comments)

compromise: THE COMPROMISE CONCEPT - 04/14/15 08:30 AM
Who wants to give in? Who wants to be the first? You see at some point this has to take place. We have complicated it and made it into a game of sorts. Strategy has become part of the dynamics. Compromise will be with us for our life times...use it on everything except one thing......your principals
GIVE & TAKE
We have to find solutions and each person may see their way to be the best way. But you see everyone sees their way to be the best way so being inflexible is not an option. Give and take is...Ask yourself what is important … (5 comments)

compromise: CLOSING TABLE DYNAMICS - 01/26/15 11:24 PM
This segment of the transaction can be a heaven or a hell. Lots of the before work done (or not) will determine what happens what we get to this stage. By work I mean communications, inspections, negotiations and the major issues. From there, we go for the close or finality
JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS OVER
In the car business, this is referred to the "finance department" for the final dynamics of the car purchasing deal. For those in the know, it is like visiting with Satan. Oops, did I say that? In this room, is a person that has been … (4 comments)

compromise: THE POKER FACE PRINCIPAL - 01/25/15 10:18 PM
People buy from people first is a well know marketing dynamic. It works off emotional energy. It is as simple as that. You engage someone at the point of sale and if a like, connection, trust, or feeling kicks in, then the sale is fast becoming a done deal with minor obstacles. The thing is, sometimes it is not in your favor
IN & OUT
Emotions send signals of approval or disapproval and people react and adjust accordingly. Look at it this way. If you don't like the person who is on point, a  "no sale" has or will already have taken place … (37 comments)

compromise: FOOL AGENCY OR DUAL AGENCY? - 01/05/15 10:45 PM
There are doctors that can generally treat and then there are doctors that are specialists in their field. A specialist is one that spends a a focused amount of time in a particular field of practice or activity. Dual agency is not your everyday type transaction but it definitely comes under the Real Estate license "can perform" type duties in California
NO THANKS
In life, it one is not comfortable in anything they are doing or asked to do, the rule is NOT to do it. Some people offer an explanation but one is really not necessary. I have turned down opportunities that I assessed to be not for … (0 comments)

compromise: I HAD TO SAY NO ON THIS REFERRAL - 03/20/13 11:28 PM
Got a call in regards to managing some property from a person who said a satisfied customer referred me to them. FINE. I listened as this person told me why they were calling and described a situation that kept pointing the finger of many problems to themselves. I am being deliberately vague here. I asked some careful questions and arrogance, strong hold tactics, and unreasonableness came to the surface. This person wanted me to work for them
LACKING THE ABILITY TO REASON
If they could only hear themselves complaining about all these management issues and the part they play in it. … (7 comments)
