It was a quiet, I was tired and I decided to spend the rest of the evening reading before finally nodding off. I bid farewell to ActiveRain via my laptop and gave it permission to enter the sleep mode at its convenience. In other words, I gave it the rest of the night off. A few hours later, I heard noise coming from my laptop. As I opened the lid, ActiveRain page came up and a character made entirely of my points appeared. What? Who are you? My name is..... Its Tom Arstingstall General contractor who specializes in Dry Rot and Water Damage "plus" and Rainmaker who is coming up fast behind me. I just wanted to share that when I went to post, I completely over-looked the TAG section and launched several posts without tags. There is no warning that you have done this and it is easy to miss as you go through your check list on the way to launch It is listed under options so it is not mandatory to include in your posting. However, we are missing out from being found or coming up if we tagged as opposed to if we didn't. I want to be found and skipping this section will injure that I had to go … (13 comments)

In order to do business, one must be in business. Posting and blogging says you are. So tell me, what is the difference between passing out your hard copy business cards at a mixer, gathering, business meeting, social or promotion and blogging, posting and commenting online and in cyberspace? Letting the public at large know YOU are here is the focus. We are just shifting or broadening how we do it HI THERE! I surf the net all the time. I do a lot of research for various subject matters and I never know where I will end up as sometimes one subject leads to another and then another. One thing I have noticed at times is the surprise of when I come across posts from people I know when I least expect it HEY...ITS YOU There is something about knowing the person or knowing of them that makes that source of information special. Compare it to lets say anyone's random post, both give data and details but you get to say...hey, I know that person … (6 comments)
